How many coffee drinkers are created by the busy urban life? Coffee is becoming more and more common in people's lives. Many friends still consume coffee in cafes due to work, gatherings and leisure scenes. For those who love to drink coffee and may want to have a cup at any time, the time to drink coffee seems very random. If there is no coffee shop, you will feel bored. At this time, it is better to choose to brew a cup of coffee by yourself, which can solve the problem of not being able to drink coffee and add fun to your life. Let me share my experience of brewing coffee at home. I wake myself up with coffee every morning. The grinder hums evenly, and the aroma of coffee wafts through the room. My body and mind feel extremely comfortable. The aroma is so wonderful. Spreading the powder, pressing the powder, and turning on the handle, the movements before extraction are all done in one go. I press the extraction button, put the cup in place, and watch the rich coffee liquid flow evenly to the bottom of the cup. It is as colorful as honey and as silky as silk. It only takes a few dozen seconds to observe the process. It seems that time has slowed down, and the surroundings are very quiet, with only the sound of my own breathing. The extraction of coffee is full of agility. A cup of delicious coffee with a balanced taste of sour, sweet, and bitter needs to be treated with care. This is how you brew your own coffee at home. The whole process is full of ritual and adds more fun to your life. If the Italian coffee machine has no obvious advantages in terms of space and money, and the beginners don't want to spend such a large sum of money at once, there are actually many brewing utensils for home brewing coffee. For example, brewing coffee with a siphon pot is simple to operate and easy to clean. Even a coffee novice can brew a cup of delicious coffee by following the steps. The following is a brief introduction to the brewing process: First, you need to prepare the following utensils: a siphon pot, an alcohol lamp, a wooden spoon, a hand-cranked bean grinder, a handful of coffee beans (medium or medium-deep roasted, 18 grams), a timer (the timing function on a mobile phone will do), a kitchen scale, and a pot of hot water. Brewing steps: Step 1: Weigh 18 grams of coffee beans and grind them into powder with a grinder until they are as coarse as granulated sugar. Step 2: In order to save the time of boiling water with the alcohol lamp, add hot water to the lower pot and light the alcohol lamp. There must be no water outside the lower pot, otherwise it may burn or explode. Step 3: Install the filter device on the upper pot, hook the guide tube with the chain, and insert it diagonally on the lower pot. Wait for bubbles to appear continuously around the chain, and then insert the upper pot and straighten it. Step 4: Wait for the water in the lower pot to slowly rise into the upper pot, then pour in the prepared coffee powder. Stir quickly to make sure the powder is evenly absorbed into the water. Step 5: Start timing and wait for 60 seconds. During this time, you can move the alcohol lamp a little further out and reduce the fire slightly depending on the situation. At this time, you will observe that the coffee powder appears in obvious layers in the upper pot. Step 6: Quickly stir the coffee mixture in the upper pot a few times and remove the alcohol lamp. Then wait quietly for the coffee liquid to pass through the filter device and flow into the lower pot. Step 7: When the coffee has finished dripping, gently move the kettle, pour the coffee into the preheated coffee cup, and start enjoying it. Stir moderately, watch the coffee powder roll in the pot, count the seconds accurately, and wait for the extraction to be completed. The whole process is very enjoyable, everything is carried out slowly and methodically. And this extraction method is very suitable for novices to operate, and there will not be too much deviation if you master the key points of operation. If you have more stringent requirements on the expression of coffee flavor, then it is recommended that you use hand-brewed coffee brewing equipment. I fell in love with hand-brewed coffee the moment I started drinking it. Different origins, different bean varieties, different processing methods, and roasting methods all make the taste of coffee beans so unpredictable and mysterious, making people eager to get close to it and understand it. I use a V60 filter cup, which can quickly filter the coffee liquid. The extraction principle is also simple, but the change in taste during the process is relatively complicated. The moment the coffee powder touches the water, it begins to transform from dry aroma to wet aroma. The change is delicate and subtle. Sniffing it carefully, feeling it, I feel that at this moment, nothing seems to be more important than brewing a perfect cup of coffee. Coffee makes me concentrate. From the moment I pour water, all my five senses are mobilized. Every time I pour water, I feel my nerves. Controlling the thin water flow makes me feel that time is so delicate and soft, and I feel a peace I have never felt before. Hand brewed coffee involves issues such as the characteristics of the coffee beans, roasting degree, freshness, etc. There are many brewing methods and precautions to discuss, which require a separate article to share in detail. Here I will briefly introduce the general brewing process. 1. Bean grinder, hand brewing pot, filter cup, sharing pot, filter paper (filter cup and filter paper must match), bar scale (kitchen scale), timer, hot water; 2. Weigh the coffee beans and control the ratio of water to powder between 1:15-1:18. Generally, a water-to-powder ratio of 1:15 is sufficient for brewing. Other ratios should be adjusted according to specific circumstances. 3. While boiling water, start grinding the beans (usually grind them into coarse sugar). 4. Prepare the water and powder, start preheating the hand brewing pot, wet the filter paper with the water from the preheated pot, and preheat the sharing pot below at the same time. 5. Pour out the preheated water, place the sharing pot and the filter cup on the bar scale, reset, add the coffee powder, gently shake the powder surface, keep a steady stream of water from the hand-pour pot, and pour it on the coffee powder in a delicate circle, with the water flowing at a constant speed. At the same time, keep an eye on the weight on the scale. Stop adding water when it reaches twice the weight of the coffee powder, and start the timer to steam for 25 or 30 seconds. 6. After steaming, start the second water injection. The amount of water injected is about 90 grams. The water flow should still be controlled at a uniform speed and in a vertical thin stream. 7. After the second water injection, wait for about 10 seconds, and when the water level drops significantly, start injecting water quickly. The water flow can be adjusted to a slightly larger amount. Observe the tumbling shape of the coffee powder, and look at the water injection amount on the bar scale (do not exceed the powder-water ratio expected at the beginning). Make sure the time is not too long, and finally finish by injecting water from the center with a fast stream of water. 8. Wait for the coffee to drip. When you see the coffee in the filter cup showing obvious water surface, remove the filter cup immediately. Shake the coffee in the sharing pot evenly, take out a small spoon to pour out a little coffee, taste it, and if the amount of water is not enough, you can add water to adjust it. After brewing, slowly pour it into the warmed coffee cup. The aroma of coffee lingers around you. Before you even take a sip, you're already intoxicated by the aroma. Pick up the cup, take a sip, the aroma goes into your throat, the coffee liquid rolls in your mouth, hitting your sensitive taste nerves, the sour, sweet, bitter taste, various flowers, fruits, nuts and even richer flavors, all can't wait to be expressed from your mouth, and you're eager to share your tasting experience with your friends. This completes the basic hand-brewing process. Of course, there are still many details that need to be paid attention to. These problems must be encountered and solved in actual brewing, and they must be gradually experienced. The fun of hand-brewed coffee is that anyone can brew their own unique flavor. There is no right or wrong, only whether it tastes good or not. We can choose a variety of filter cups and filter papers to experiment, and we can try a variety of beans. Maybe the taste of the coffee you brew won't be very good at first, but with the accumulation of your own brewing experience and the continuous understanding of coffee, I believe that it won't take long for everyone to brew the taste they like. Isn't it very interesting to brew coffee at home? Coffee allows us to experience the wonderful taste and provides us with unlimited possibilities in the production process. As long as you love and like to drink it, you can brew a cup of delicious coffee at home. There are many ways to brew coffee. Choose a brewing method that suits you and brew a cup of coffee for yourself. Calm down in the noisy life, add a sense of ritual to life, and let time go slower, just like the thin stream of water when brewing. There are so many beautiful things in life that are worth our careful appreciation. As a coffee lover, I share my experience of brewing coffee and write this for friends who also love coffee.
