The quality of coffee beans is not determined by the type of beans, but also by the flavor and taste of the coffee beans.

Have you heard of Arabica coffee beans? If you love coffee, even if you don't know the name, you must have tasted it. It is the largest coffee bean variety in the world, accounting for about 70% of the world's coffee production. The remaining 30% is Robusta, and the remaining Liberica coffee beans have a very low production and can be ignored.

If we were to rank the most popular coffee bean varieties among Chinese people, Arabica beans would definitely be ranked first. We seem to have no resistance to food with rich fruity aroma.

Arabica coffee beans are larger, longer, and flatter than Robusta coffee beans, and contain less caffeine. They have a subtle, bright acidity and are less prone to severe bitterness, making them popular around the world.

Because of the various advantages of Arabica beans, most people think that Arabica beans = good beans, while Robusta beans are bad beans. This is why some people always criticize some instant coffee for using Robusta beans. But in fact, no matter which kind of coffee beans, there will be good and bad ones. The quality of coffee beans cannot be distinguished only by the type of coffee beans.

In daily contact, I found that many of us evaluate coffee based on whether it is bitter enough. Everyone can intuitively think that Arabica coffee beans are good beans, but they don’t like the bright sour taste of Arabica coffee beans. They always keep giving feedback, saying why there is sourness? Shouldn’t coffee be bitter? Despite this, people still don’t like Robusta beans, which have a stronger bitter taste and are closer to everyone’s perception of coffee beans. This seems very contradictory.

Have you heard of Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee? It can be said to be the best coffee, and it is also produced from Arabica coffee beans. Not only Blue Mountain Coffee, but many other famous coffee beans are also from Arabica coffee beans. Most of those famous coffee beans have a variety of flavors, such as sour, sweet, and bitter. It is precisely because of these different flavors that they seem to be more precious.

Message from Little Deer: When judging the quality of coffee, you don’t just look at the bean variety!
