Brooklyn-based coffee equipment manufacturer Alpha Dominche has just announced the launch of its first home coffee maker, The Flask. Originally founded in Salt Lake City, the commercial coffee and tea brewing equipment manufacturer made a splash when it entered the specialty coffee industry in 2012. Last year, the company introduced its batch brewing device, The Sight, which was showcased at the Extraction Lab showroom in Brooklyn. The brewing equipment produced by the company combines functional innovation with a modern design.
The Flask looks like a Hario Mizudashi cold brew coffee maker, with a sleek design that helps home baristas brew the highest quality coffee. The unique dual-chamber design allows the ground coffee to separate from the brewed coffee after 3 minutes of infusion.
"We are very excited about entering the retail consumer market. We hope to design and produce more innovative products for more home coffee lovers in the future," said the company's CEO Thomas Perez at the new product launch.
The company will conduct a crowdfunding campaign early next year and plans to officially launch "The Flask" for sale online within the next year.
