Abstract: During this coffee course training trip, the students explored the connotation and extension of coffee culture in depth. In the course, the students not only learned the skills of coffee making, but also learned about the historical origins, production area characteristics and tasting methods of coffee. Through practical training, the students experienced the charm of coffee culture and felt the exquisiteness and uniqueness of coffee. This trip gave the students a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of coffee culture and they gained a lot.

Ever since I started taking the coffee course, my life has changed quietly. Previously, my knowledge of coffee was limited to that it was a refreshing drink. After studying for this period of time, I gradually realized the culture, history and craftsmanship behind coffee. Here, I would like to share my practical training experience and explore the rich connotations of the coffee course.

At the beginning, I knew very little about how to make coffee. I thought that as long as I ground the coffee beans into powder and put them into the coffee machine, I could make delicious coffee. During the course, I learned that the process of making coffee is much more complicated than I thought. From the selection of coffee beans, roasting methods, grinding degree, to water temperature, extraction time, etc., every detail will affect the taste and quality of the coffee. Every practical training makes me more familiar with the process and feel the fun and challenge of it.

In the course, I not only learned how to make coffee, but also gained a deeper understanding of the history and culture of coffee. I learned that coffee is not just a drink, but also a lifestyle and cultural symbol. From ancient Arabian legends to modern coffee shop culture, every historical stage has a unique coffee story. These stories have made me more interested in coffee and made me appreciate those who love coffee even more.

During the training, I also learned how to taste and evaluate coffee. At the beginning, I only had a vague feeling about the taste and aroma of coffee, but as time went on, I was gradually able to distinguish different flavors and aromas, which made me feel very excited, as if I had opened the door to a new world. Every tasting is a new experience, which makes me more immersed in the world of coffee.
