Cappuccino – Freshly ground coffee is the most fragrant

Cappuccino – Freshly ground coffee is the most fragrant

When I was young, I pretended to learn how to drink coffee in order to be more bourgeois. Later, I started to like the bitter taste followed by the sweet taste.

After falling in love with baking, my love for coffee has also grown day by day, because the relationship between coffee and desserts is like that of a couple, blending with each other and complementing each other...

Although it is very convenient to buy coffee powder now, and stores will grind it for you, we usually buy half-pound or one-pound bags. If we don’t finish it as soon as possible after opening the package, the coffee powder will be easily oxidized and the aroma will be lost.

Therefore, if you want to drink more delicious and aromatic coffee, it is best to grind it before drinking.

I used to have a small, most common hand-cranked coffee grinder with a drawer. It made a lot of noise and shook for a long time to grind a certain amount of coffee beans. It was more ornamental than practical. What's more, the friction would generate heat and accelerate the loss of the aroma of the coffee powder if it was ground for a long time.

But now it is convenient with a food processor. Its powerful horsepower can quickly grind the coffee beans into the degree I want. The finely ground coffee powder is suitable for my Italian coffee machine, and the slightly coarser one is just right for the American coffee machine.

I made espresso with freshly ground coffee powder, and then added milk and milk foam to make a cappuccino. I still haven't learned how to make latte art, so I just squeezed chocolate sauce on the surface and quickly drew a few strokes. Sorry, it's a bit ugly, but it tastes very good~~ Have a cup for breakfast or afternoon tea, and pair it with some homemade desserts, it's really enjoyable!

When you take the first sip from the cup and your upper lip is embraced and kissed by the soft foam, what words will come to your mind - romantic? bitter? Or "willful"?

Borrowing a picture found on the Internet, we can clearly see the difference between cappuccino and latte:

Material:

Deep roasted coffee beans

Pure milk 120ml

Chocolate sauce (or cinnamon powder or cocoa powder)

Freshly ground coffee beans:

Dark roasted coffee beans are best for espresso

Take an appropriate amount of coffee beans and add them to the blender.

Start the grinding button, you can use the stirring rod to assist in the process

Store the ground coffee in a sealed container and drink it as soon as possible.

How to make cappuccino coffee:

1. Add an appropriate amount of freshly ground coffee powder to the espresso machine

2. Choose a small cup of espresso

3. Prepared espresso

4. Add pure milk to the latte art cup and use the steam nozzle to make milk foam. If you don’t have this function, you can use a battery-powered milk foaming tool.

5. Pour into espresso, but you haven’t mastered the latte art yet, so you can only pour it in awkwardly

6. Add milk foam to a level slightly above the cup, pour in chocolate sauce, and use a toothpick to make a few strokes to create the desired pattern.

You can also sprinkle cinnamon powder or cocoa powder on the surface instead of chocolate sauce.

The amount of coffee beans in the recipe is only suitable for use in a food processor, not the amount to be consumed at once. Store the extra coffee beans in a sealed container and drink them up as soon as possible.
