Coffee bean origins revealed: a list of major producing areas around the world

Coffee is one of the most popular drinks in the world, and the origin of coffee beans directly affects the flavor and taste of coffee. The world's major coffee bean producing areas are distributed in different countries and regions. Each producing area has its own unique climate, soil and planting technology, so the coffee beans produced are also unique.

First, South America. South America is one of the largest coffee producers in the world, and Brazil is the world's largest coffee producer. Brazil is famous for its rich and full taste, and occupies more than one-third of the global market share. In addition to Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador and other countries also have an important position in South America. These countries are mountainous and rainy, and the coffee beans grown in high-altitude mountains have a strong aroma and a soft taste.

The second is Africa. Africa is known as the "Arabia Peninsula" and is rich in high-quality Arabica varieties, especially Ethiopia, Kenya and Tanzania. Ethiopia is one of the birthplaces of coffee. The coffee beans grown here have a strong floral and fruity flavor and a moderate acidity. Kenya is famous for the coffee beans produced in its high-altitude planting areas. These beans are high in acidity and have a refreshing taste. Tanzania produces high-quality Arabica coffee with its unique soil and climate conditions.

Finally, Central America and the Caribbean. Central America and the Caribbean are also important coffee producing areas, with Costa Rica, Mexico and Jamaica enjoying a high reputation. Costa Rica grows multiple varieties at different altitudes due to its diverse and complex climatic conditions, and is loved by consumers for its rich and balanced flavor. Mexico, on the other hand, has fertile soil and coffee beans grown in a naturally cool environment, which have low acidity and a soft taste. Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee is one of the most expensive coffees in the world. It has limited production but excellent quality, and is famous for its rich aroma and balanced taste.
