Analysis of coffee making process

Coffee is a popular drink among the general public, and making a delicious cup of coffee requires multiple steps. This article will focus on the coffee making process and analyze each step in detail.

1. Raw material preparation

First of all, to make a good cup of coffee, you need to prepare high-quality ingredients. Usually, we use ground coffee beans and clean filtered water. It is very important to choose the right coffee beans. Beans produced in different regions have different tastes and flavors.

2. Grinding and weighing

Next, you need to grind the coffee beans before you start brewing. You can choose different grinds according to different brewing methods and personal taste preferences. Then use an electronic scale or a manual scale to measure out the appropriate amount of coffee powder.

3. Pre-wet drip paper

Before putting the freshly weighed coffee powder into the dripper, you need to pre-wet the dripper paper. This can prevent the isolation layer between the coffee powder and the paper from absorbing moisture, ensuring that the coffee powder can fully release its aroma and taste.

4. Pour water and brew

Now it's time to start brewing. First, pour a proper amount of hot water over the ground coffee powder to allow it to slowly soak and expand. Then pour the remaining hot water in a slow and even manner.

5. Control time and temperature

During the entire brewing process, it is very important to control time and temperature. Generally speaking, the brewing time should be controlled between 2-4 minutes, and the optimal temperature range is 90-96 degrees Celsius. Too long or too high a temperature will increase the bitterness.

6. Squeezing and extraction

When brewing is finished, you need to gently squeeze the bottom of the dripper by hand to promote better extraction of coffee. This ensures that the aroma and taste in the coffee powder are fully released, making the coffee more intense.

7. Pour into cup

Finally, pour the brewed coffee into the preheated cup. Try to keep it steady during the pouring process to avoid excessive bubbles. Now a cup of delicious coffee is ready!

Summarize

Making a delicious cup of coffee requires multiple steps, including raw material preparation, grinding and weighing, pre-wetting dripper paper, pouring water, controlling time and temperature, squeezing and extraction, and pouring into the cup. Each step is very important, and only by strictly following the process can you make coffee with a rich taste and overflowing aroma.
