Coffee has always been a highly consumed beverage. Instant coffee has become an indispensable part of many consumers' lives due to its convenience and quickness and the fact that it can be brewed at any time. We always hear people complaining about the bad taste of instant coffee. In fact, it is not that instant coffee is not tasty, but that you have not chosen the real delicious instant coffee. So how should you choose instant coffee? 1. Look at the craftsmanship (1) High temperature steam extraction The concentrated coffee extract is sprayed by a hot air jet, and the heat evaporates the water in the coffee extract, leaving dry coffee grains. This process can bring large-scale and fast production, but the disadvantage is that the aroma of the coffee will be taken away with the high-temperature steam after high-temperature treatment, and many nutrients will easily produce allergic reactions with high temperatures, the chemical structure will be destroyed, and the nutritional value will drop sharply. (2) Low temperature roasted white coffee After medium-to-light low-temperature roasting and special processing, a large amount of caffeine is removed, as well as the burnt bitterness and sourness produced by high-temperature carbon roasting. The bitterness and caffeine content of the coffee are reduced to a minimum. The coffee is sweet and fragrant without hurting the stomach, and the original color and aroma of the coffee are retained. (3) Ultra-low temperature extraction "cold brew coffee" After extracting coffee concentrate from coffee beans, it is extracted by vacuum freezing at -40℃. Ultra-low temperature freezing can perfectly preserve the flavor and taste of coffee, and lock in the nutrients of coffee itself, so that the coffee produced is rich in aroma and pure in taste. 2. Look at the coffee beans As we all know, one of the keys to the taste of coffee is coffee beans. Different types of coffee beans will directly determine the quality of a cup of coffee, so choosing coffee beans is the first step. The two most common coffee beans are Arabica and Robusta. (1) Arabica coffee beans Arabica coffee beans are the most important type of coffee beans at present. They are produced in the Abyssinian Plateau of Ethiopia. Arabica coffee beans account for 70%-80% of the world's coffee beans. Arabica coffee beans are relatively small in shape and have a strong and mellow aroma. The coffee made from them will have a richer taste. You can smell the aroma of flowers, fruits, chocolate and caramel. The bitterness and sourness of the coffee produced are well balanced, and the taste is soft and smooth. (2) Robusta coffee beans Robusta coffee beans are mainly grown in hot and humid environments such as Africa. The beans are round and the color ranges from yellow to yellow-gray. Robusta coffee beans have a distinct and strong flavor, with a unique aroma and bitterness. The coffee liquid extracted from it is about twice that of Arabica, and the caffeine content is also much higher than that of Arabica. 3. Look at the type (1) Black coffee Black coffee does not contain creamer and sugar. Its taste combines the five flavors of coffee aroma, sweetness, mellowness, sourness and bitterness. It is a type of coffee that perfectly retains the original taste of coffee. (2) White coffee White coffee is mainly produced in Malaysia, but it does not mean that the coffee is white in color. The characteristic is that the bitter and sour taste of coffee is removed by processing, the caffeine content is reduced to the minimum, and there are no additives to enhance the taste. It is sweet and fragrant, does not hurt the spleen and stomach, and has a pure taste. (3) Three-in-one coffee Three-in-one coffee refers to instant coffee that is a mixture of creamer, sugar, and coffee. It tastes better and comes in many varieties, but it contains high levels of sugar and fat, so the more you drink it, the fatter you may get. (4) "Vilavie" cold brew coffee The vacuum freezing extraction at -40℃ prevents the loss of purity and truly locks in the original flavor and nutrients of the coffee, keeping the coffee rich and fragrant, with a mellow and natural taste. The coffee made from "Arabica coffee beans" is not hot or irritating, does not hurt the stomach, and has zero trans fat. |
