Latte coffee practice guide: How to make layered latte at home?

Latte is an Italian coffee item. Its original name is latte, which actually means milk. The so-called latte refers to the classic mixture of Italian espresso and milk. The "coffee latte art" often heard in coffee shops is actually the process of baristas making patterns on latte. So what is layered latte? How to make layered latte at home?

When you pour milk into espresso you get a nice looking latte.

So, have you ever thought about what would happen if you reverse the order of the two?

Pouring a cup of milk into espresso will make another kind of latte, namely layered latte, which is amazing!

So how do you make a layered latte at home?

First, you need to prepare 30 grams of coffee beans and an appropriate amount of milk

Specific steps:

1. Add milk to about 80 degrees

2. Put the coffee beans into the grinder and grind them

3. Pour hot water into the kettle and boil

4. Pour the ground coffee powder into a container, place it on a kettle and cook for 1 minute. When all the liquid has flowed down, peel off the middle of the coffee grounds and start cooking for the second time. After 50 seconds, add the heated milk into the brewing pot and start making milk foam. Take out the milk foam (pour the milk into the cup and then add the milk foam).

5. Finally, slowly pour in the brewed coffee, and a layered latte is ready.

There is a third type of latte that can be made if espresso is poured into milk too slowly - the failed layered latte.

Therefore, if you want to make a good-looking layered latte, you must also pay attention to the speed at which espresso and milk blend.
