Teach you how to make a delicious cup of coffee with the simplest tools

Do you want to make a cup of delicious coffee yourself? Take a look at the following content and you can basically make it yourself. Coffee is a popular drink, not so mysterious. You can make yourself a cup of delicious coffee at home with simple tools.

Nowadays, fewer and fewer people like coffee. There are many ways to brew coffee. Many beginners don't know how to choose. Daily coffee brewing methods are generally divided into two types: Italian style and hand brewing. There are some other brewing methods that we will not discuss today.

Relatively speaking, Italian espresso requires more equipment and a larger investment. Maybe the first enthusiasts don't know if they can stick to it and hesitate whether to buy equipment. This is also human nature. Many friends' coffee machines are thrown away for a long time after the novelty wears off. Friends who want to make coffee by themselves can try hand brewing first.

Hand brewing coffee is probably the simplest of all brewing methods. Although it takes a lot of skill to brew a perfect cup of coffee, as a hobby, you can brew a cup of coffee that satisfies you after a little learning.

The basic tools needed for hand brewing coffee are grinder, hand brewing pot, electronic scale, filter cup, filter paper, and sharing cup. There are a few of these. If you don't want to have so many of them at the beginning, you can omit them or replace them with other things. For example, for grinder, you can first choose a cheaper genuine hand grinder, or buy coffee powder directly. If that doesn't work, find a stone mortar used to crush garlic. This is how Ethiopians originally ground coffee. But don't use one that has already crushed garlic. No matter how you wash it, it won't work. Don't ask me why I know. (Coffee powder tastes much worse than freshly ground coffee). You don't have to buy a sharing cup. You can use a larger coffee cup or water cup instead. Filter cup and filter paper cannot be omitted, and it is difficult to find other substitutes. You can consider the most commonly used v60, you can choose No. 1, plus No. 1 filter paper.

I used to use a laboratory funnel and filter paper at first. A friend knew that I loved coffee, so he brought me a bag of coffee powder when he came back from abroad. At that time, I had not yet started brewing coffee, and I was good at doing it. I went to a nearby reagent store and bought a funnel and filter paper. The conclusion was that the filter paper used in the laboratory was too thin and the coffee water could not go down. At the same time, I also came to a conclusion that using thin stockings folded in two layers can make coffee, which is similar to the special filter paper used now, but it is not very convenient.

There are also electronic scales and hand-poured kettles. Electronic scales are essential, otherwise it is difficult to control the amount of coffee powder and water. The advantage of hand-poured kettles is that they can accurately control the water flow, which is difficult to do with teapots used at home. But if you have to make do, you can barely use it. There is also the control of water temperature. After the boiled water is poured into the kettle, it is about 96 degrees. You can open the lid and wait for two minutes. At this time, the water temperature is about 90 degrees. This temperature is suitable for most coffees.

You can search for videos on the Internet to learn the specific process of flushing. It is not something that can be explained in a few words. I am not very good at expressing myself. But there are a few points to note.

1. If there is too little coffee powder at the beginning, it will be difficult to brew. You can choose to use 18 grams of powder and mix it with 300 ml of water.

2. The filter paper and the filter cup should fit well. Before adding coffee powder, wet the filter paper and warm up the cup.

3. When you pour water for the first time, don't pour too much. Just soak the coffee powder thoroughly. After pouring the water, some water will slowly drip out from the bottom of the funnel, which means the amount of water is appropriate. Then slowly pour about 300 ml of water in three times. Be sure to pay attention that the spout cannot be too high from the surface of the coffee powder. The water flow cannot be too fast, so as not to drown the coffee powder.

4. Finally, please note that when the hot water in the funnel is almost gone, you should remove the funnel in time to prevent the last bit of foreign flavor from entering the coffee. Finally, shake the coffee liquid evenly. Pour it into the warm coffee cup and you can enjoy it.

Hand brewing is the simplest way, but it also requires the most skills. The coffee powder particle size, dosage, water temperature, water pouring method, time, different bean varieties, different roasting degrees, and taste all have certain differences.
