Coffee latte art is not difficult, as long as you master the method

Coffee latte art sounds romantic. You may not know what it is, but if you go to a coffee shop and order a latte or cappuccino, you will know about it. So how is latte art made? Can you make a cup of romantic latte art at home? Today, Omiqi Pastry Training will take you to learn more about it.

Ingredients

Main ingredients: 30ml espresso, 30ml whole milk

Methods/Steps

Coffee Latte Art:

The English name is LATTE ART, which means latte art. Latte means "milk" in Italian. The latte art we usually understand is actually the perfect combination of milk and coffee.

If you have a professional coffee machine at home:

Use a semi-automatic Italian coffee machine to make espresso, usually 30ml, with a beautiful layer of fat on top. Use the steam nozzle of the coffee machine to heat and whip the milk (inject gas into the milk to make it foamy), produce fine and dense milk foam, and finally and most importantly, rely on the skill of the hands.

If you don’t have a professional coffee machine at home:

Instead of hand-poured coffee, you can buy milk frothing cups online, ranging from IKEA's 9.9 yuan milk frother to dozens of yuan milk frothing cups, all of which can achieve the function of frothing milk. If you want to make your own latte art, you can also use fancy latte art molds.

Latte art action: Take leaves as an example

The first action of latte art is to shake the wrist holding the latte art cup left and right, and keep the wrist shaking horizontally left and right. This action only requires the strength of the wrist, and do not move the whole arm. When shaking correctly, white "Z"-shaped milk foam marks will begin to appear in the cup.

Gradually move the latte art cup backwards, reducing the amplitude of shaking, and finally draw a thin straight line forward when closing the cup to draw the stems of the leaves in the cup to end.

Professional latte art machine:

Nowadays, there are many machine-made latte art machines on the market, which are similar to 3D printing functions. For example, you can input the pattern or photo you need into the machine, and the pattern you want will be directly on the coffee when it comes out. It is unlikely that you can buy a latte art machine at home, but you can go to some specialty coffee shops to meet such customized needs.
