Precautions for brewing coffee powder How to brew coffee powder for a better taste

Some people may not be familiar with coffee powder, but everyone is familiar with coffee. If you want to drink good coffee, you must pay more attention to some tips for brewing coffee, so that the nutritional value of coffee can be released.

How to brew coffee powder?

1. Boiling will make coffee bitter. It is recommended not to cook coffee directly on the fire. It should be brewed at a temperature between 90 and 96℃ (195 to 205℉).

2. Do not reheat brewed coffee.

The temperature that maintains the best flavor of coffee is 86℃ (185℉).

3. Use fresh water to brew.

The ideal amount of water per cup is 98%. If the water has a strange smell, consider using activated carbon to filter it.

4. Do not reuse ground coffee powder, as the bitter components of coffee remain in the brewed coffee powder.

5. Please use the correct grind size provided by the coffee manufacturer.

Grinding too fine can cause over-extraction, produce a bitter taste, or clog your brewing equipment.

Undergrinding will result in ground coffee that tastes like water.

If you use a drip brewing device, the dripping process should be completed within two to four minutes to obtain the appropriate grinding degree.

6. It is recommended to use 10 grams of ground coffee for every 180 ml (6 oz) of water.

No matter how much coffee you are brewing, you should always use the same ratio.

7. The time you leave the coffee in the coffee machine to keep it warm should not exceed 20 minutes, as it will lose its flavor if left for too long.

It is recommended to use a thermos or vacuum flask to store the coffee, which can keep the temperature and aroma of the coffee for a longer time.

People are already very clear about how to brew coffee powder. People should not treat themselves badly at any time, so everyone has to learn to do many things by themselves. Today's introduction on how to brew coffee powder has been very detailed. If you have time, you can try it yourself and see if the coffee you brew is delicious.

If you want tools, such as the basic French filter press and drip filter, the advanced ones are Mocha, siphon and the like. It is similar to drinking tea. You can buy ordinary tea and drink it directly with a glass cup, or you can buy Longjing tea and use purple clay to soak it in last year's rainwater and taste it slowly.

Here are some cheap and simple ones:

A French press is simply a cup with a metal filter. You put the coffee powder in the cup, pour water, and put in the filter. The filter can block the coffee grounds when pouring coffee. The basic structure is like the cup with a filter inside the lid in the supermarket that can block the tea leaves when drinking tea. Of course, it is different from a teacup, but the principle is the same. A cup that brews one to two servings of coffee at a time costs about 40 yuan. This is suitable for coarsely ground coffee. Don't soak fine coffee powder for too long.

Drip coffee brewing is just like the filter experiment we learned in elementary school. There is a funnel-shaped container on top and a cup at the bottom. You fold the filter paper into a funnel shape and put it into the funnel, put the coffee powder into the filter paper, pour water on the coffee powder, and the coffee will leak into the cup below. If you want to brew coffee in this way, you only need to buy a filter cup (funnel) and filter paper. It depends on the material of the filter cup. Ordinary filter cups cost about thirty or forty yuan. Filter paper is a consumable material, one sheet at a time. A box of forty sheets costs between 15 and 30 yuan.

There is also a filter bucket (also called a filter net) made of flannel cloth. The coffee powder is placed in the net (on the flannel cloth), water is poured on the coffee powder, and the cup is placed under the filter bucket to collect the leaking coffee.
