Coffee beans: the source of aroma, the art of roasting!

Coffee beans: the source of aroma, the art of roasting!

Coffee beans are a plant seed that originates from tropical regions and are widely used to make coffee. These small beans contain rich aroma and unique flavor, becoming an indispensable part of people's daily life.

The aroma of coffee beans can be traced back to the environment in which they grow. In high altitudes, with plenty of rain and warm climates, coffee trees thrive and produce the finest berries. These berries are carefully picked and processed to contain the two seeds, or coffee beans, inside.

Next, it is the turn of the bakers to display their artistic talents and skills! By controlling factors such as time, temperature and humidity, they release the distinctive flavor characteristics that cannot be tasted in the original state. A slight crackling sound is accompanied by an alluring aroma, and the chemical changes are completed between the red and blue fire.

Each stage corresponds to different degrees of color and taste changes: lightly roasted coffee beans are light yellow, have higher acidity and a refreshing taste; medium-roasted coffee beans are dark brown, with reduced acidity but still a lingering aroma; and dark-roasted coffee beans become very black, with a bitter and rich flavor.

Roasting is an art. Roasters constantly adjust the roasting time and temperature in each batch based on their understanding and pursuit of flavor and taste. They need to consider factors such as the quality of the original coffee beans, the characteristics of the origin, and consumer preferences to achieve the best results.

Whether we are brewing a cup of rich and fragrant morning coffee at home or tasting a carefully crafted latte or Americano in a professional coffee shop, we can all feel the wonderful experience created by the unique roasting process.

In short, from the growing environment to the careful processing to the release of flavor between the red and blue fires of the perfect furnace, every link in this process provides us with the opportunity to enjoy coffee. The source of the mellow aroma of coffee beans and the art of roasters together constitute the coffee culture we love.
