How to grind coffee beans and brew delicious coffee

Coffee is a popular beverage made from Typica coffee beans, and making a delicious cup of coffee requires two key steps: grinding and brewing. Here's how to grind coffee beans into coffee powder and use the powder to brew a cup of fragrant and delicious coffee.

First of all, it is very important to choose the right coffee beans. Coffee beans produced in different regions have different flavor characteristics, and you can choose according to your personal preferences. When buying, you should pay attention to buying beans that are fresh, well-preserved, and not over-roasted or exposed to too much sunlight. For beginners, it is recommended to choose beans with a medium or dark roast degree.

Secondly, before you start grinding, make sure you have the right type and quality of equipment ready. Either manual or electric can be used, but either way, make sure the blades are sharp and the machine is clean. For best results, follow these steps: first determine the amount of powder you need and put the corresponding amount of coffee beans in the machine; then select the appropriate degree of grinding, generally speaking, finer powder is suitable for concentrated coffee (such as espresso), while coarser powder is suitable for drip or French press; finally press the start button or manually rotate the machine until the desired degree of grinding is achieved.

The last step is to brew the coffee. Choose the right brewing method according to your personal taste and preference. For a drip coffee machine, put the filter paper into the funnel and pour the appropriate amount of coffee powder on the paper; then add enough water at a suitable temperature (about 90-96℃) and wait for the water to pass through the process. For a French press pot, pour the appropriate amount of coffee powder into the pot and add water at a temperature of about 95℃; then stir it gently, cover the piston and wait for 3-4 minutes; finally, press the piston to push it down and tilt the pot to enjoy the delicious and mellow coffee.
