Drink coffee in a new way: three steps to make a cup of beautiful snow-top coffee that brings you more than just coolness

The coffee I am most familiar with is Starbucks, because I don't know much about coffee. Among all the coffees I have come into contact with, Starbucks is the most familiar, although I have never drunk it. Because I don't have high requirements for coffee, I used to just buy one or two bags of brewed coffee to drink, after all, coffee should be freshly ground to be mellow. Every time I pass by Starbucks, I can smell the aroma of coffee that is different from the powdered coffee. Many people like to order a cup of coffee and sit for an afternoon, playing computer games in an air-conditioned room or chatting with two or three friends. Few people are tasting coffee. For someone like me who doesn't know much about coffee, I don't know much about coffee brands.

There are many types of coffee: Americano, white coffee, latte, cappuccino, mocha, caramel macchiato, Viennese coffee, Italian coffee, etc. Some time ago, I saw someone DIY latte art on WeChat Moments, some cute, some fresh. Anyway, I just watch and don't know how to do it. These are skills that require professional learning. Foodies who only care about food only care about the taste, and appearance is secondary.

I had a milk frother at home but never used it. I don't know where it went. It's so hot in the summer that I suddenly want to drink iced coffee, but the coffee taste is too strong. The taste is too light and I can't taste its real taste. I was struggling between strong and light, so I chose to add concentrated coffee, milk and whipped cream to try the taste, so I made this snow capped coffee. You can't stay in an air-conditioned room in the hot summer. Turn off the air conditioner and turn on the fan to drink a cup of ice-cold snow capped coffee, and then have some afternoon snacks such as egg yolk cakes to enjoy the summer ritual.

The top of the snow is decorated with whipped cream and ganache, which makes it look more thoughtful. Fat and plump fairies don't have to worry about not gaining weight by eating this little whipped cream. Gaining weight is a long process, so you can boldly try this cold drink, a simple cold drink that you won't regret after drinking. Compared with those milk teas out there, this one has several times less calories. If you don't believe it, try it.

Prepare the ingredients:

2 spoons of coffee, some boiling water, 120g whipped cream, 10g fine sugar, 1 box of milk (250ml), 40g dark chocolate

Production steps:

1. Add two spoons of coffee into the cup.

2. Add an appropriate amount of boiling water. (Choose the amount of boiling water to add according to your preferred concentration)

3. After mixing well, let cool.

4. Pour the coffee into an ice tray and freeze overnight.

5. After the milk is refrigerated, take it out and pour it into a cup. Add the frozen coffee ice cubes.

6. Add 20g whipping cream to dark chocolate and heat until completely melted, then cool for later use. Add 100g whipping cream to fine sugar and beat until hard. Choose a piping nozzle of your choice, put the whipping cream into a piping bag, and squeeze a layer of it into the cup. Then drizzle a layer of ganache on it.

A sip of ice-cold snow-top coffee is refreshing and chilling. The concentration of coffee can be adjusted according to your preference. I made it medium-strong, and it tasted just right after adding ice milk and melting. If you think the coffee is a little bitter, you can add some sugar and brew it before freezing it. This way, the bitter and sweet taste is also good. You can add ganache according to your preference, or skip it if you don’t like it. Or you can simply add one or two almond slices on the whipped cream for simple decoration. In the end, the almond slices were eaten. In summer, a cup of iced snow-top coffee like this can help you drive away the heat for a while.
