
A week of coffee
As a coffee lover, I am full of passion and anticipation for coffee every day. Whether it is the first cup of coffee in the morning or a short break during afternoon tea time, every tasting brings me endless enjoyment and aroma.
Monday: Morning wake-up
Monday mornings are always tiring, but I know that with a cup of rich, black coffee in hand, I can rise to the challenge. I love to place freshly ground coffee beans in a drip kettle and wait for the water to blend with the beans. As the dark liquid flows into my cup, the whole room is filled with a rich and enticing aroma.

Every Tuesday afternoon, after work, I go to a small coffee shop that just opened nearby to explore different flavors. This shop is famous for its hand-poured specialty single-origin coffee, where you can taste coffee beans from different origins. I like to try all kinds of flavors, from acidic Ethiopian coffee to bitter Colombian coffee, and each cup brings me a unique experience.
Wednesday: Share with friends
Wednesday night is when I get together with my friends. We will choose a cozy and spacious cafe to enjoy a good time there. Everyone will order their favorite coffee, some like latte, some prefer cappuccino. We chat and laugh while sipping coffee, sharing the little things in life together.
Thursday: Rest at home
Thursday afternoons are when I need to relax and focus the most when I work from home. At this time, I will use a French press to brew a cup of light, aromatic, smooth and delicate hand-poured coffee. In this way, while enjoying the rich aroma, it can also make my mind clearer and improve my work efficiency.
Friday: Coffee and Dessert
Friday is the day I treat myself. During afternoon tea time, I go to a coffee shop that specializes in handmade baked desserts. Here, I can taste freshly baked cakes and cookies paired with fragrant latte. This combination makes people feel happy and satisfied, as if the world has become a better place.
Saturday: Exploring New Territory
Every Saturday morning, I attend a tasting event organized by a local barista. Here, I can learn about the impact of different origins and different processing methods on the flavor of coffee, and experience the subtle differences through tasting. Such activities have broadened my horizons and deepened my understanding of coffee culture and production process.
Sunday: Enjoy a quiet moment
Every Sunday morning is my quiet time. Whether I am sitting on the balcony enjoying the morning sun or reading a good book in bed, I always make a cup of soft and mellow latte. This combination makes me feel calm and relaxed, and energized for the new week.
