Guide to using a coffee brewer

The coffee hand-pour pot is a simple and convenient tool for making coffee. It does not require electricity, and you can easily make fragrant and delicious coffee with just hot water and coffee powder. The following will introduce you how to use the coffee hand-pour pot correctly.

Preparation

Before you begin, make sure all your equipment is clean and hygienic. Wash and dry the pour-over pot, filter, and glass, and make sure there is no residue or odor.

Next, choose freshly ground coffee beans that suit your taste. Choose from three different levels of grind: coarse, medium, and fine, based on your personal preference, and store them in an airtight container to keep them fresh.

Finally, before you start brewing, preheat the water to a suitable temperature (usually 90-96 degrees Celsius). This ensures that the water temperature is just right, making the extracted coffee more fragrant.

Step 1: Grind the coffee beans

Put the right amount of coffee beans into the manual grinder and grind them to the right coarseness according to your personal taste. Generally speaking, coarser beans can produce a strong, light coffee, while finer beans can produce a stronger, fuller taste.

Note: To preserve freshness and aroma, grind immediately before use.

Step 2: Clean the filter

Insert the filter into the brewer and thoroughly wet the filter paper with clean water. This will remove any impurities and odors that may be on the paper and provide a better extraction.

At the same time, before using it for the first time, it is recommended to rinse the filter with boiling water to ensure that it is completely clean and dust-free.

Step 3: Add coffee powder

Place the pre-cleaned filter back on top of the brewer and shake it gently to secure it in place. Then, pour in the appropriate amount of ground coffee.

Depending on personal taste and desired coffee strength, generally speaking, about 15-20 grams of coffee powder is needed per cup. You can adjust it according to your preferences.

Step 4: Brewing process

After all the ingredients are prepared, start the brewing process. First, pour an appropriate amount of pre-heated water over the hand-pour kettle and wait for a while for its temperature to drop to the appropriate range (90-96 degrees Celsius).

Then, slowly and evenly pour in the remaining water. Be careful to keep a steady and even pour rate to ensure the best extraction.

In addition, you can use a spoon to gently stir the coffee grounds during the water pouring process to promote more uniform and complete soaking.

Step 5: Enjoy the delicious food

When all the water flows out through the filter paper, the coffee is fully extracted. At this point, remove the hand-pour pot from the glass and gently shake it a few times to allow the remaining water drops to flow out completely.

Finally, pour the steaming hot coffee into the prepared cup and taste the delicious coffee. You can adjust the taste of the coffee by adding appropriate amount of milk or sugar according to your personal taste.

Cleaning and maintenance

After use, wash your pour-over kettle, filter, and glass and make sure they are completely dry to prevent bacterial growth. Also, check and replace the filter paper regularly to maintain optimal extraction results.

In addition, when the hand brewing kettle is not in use, please place it in a dry and ventilated place and avoid direct sunlight to prevent deformation and damage.

Summarize

By using the coffee brewer correctly, you can easily make delicious coffee. Just follow the above steps and pay attention to cleaning and maintenance, and you will be able to enjoy the top-quality coffee you make at home! I wish you a happy tasting!
