Exploring the Hometown of Coffee: Santonban’s Journey to the Origin of Coffee

Coffee is one of the most popular drinks in the world. Its unique flavor and aroma attract countless people. To understand the true homeland of coffee, we need to embark on a wonderful and delicious journey. In this origin tour, we will explore Santonban, a town themed on growing, processing and tasting coffee.

First stop: Plantation

There are many excellent coffee plantations near Santonban. These plantations are located in mountainous areas with suitable altitudes, fertile soil and warm and humid climate. When we stepped into them, we were greeted by a rich aroma.

Here, farmers cultivate the land that has been passed down from generation to generation in their families, and use traditional methods to cultivate high-quality varieties. They will show us how to select fruits of the right maturity and good color, and talk about their care and management of coffee trees.

In this plantation, we can also experience the process of picking coffee beans ourselves. Manual picking is one of the important links to ensure the quality of coffee. We will wear special hats and gloves, carefully cut the most mature coffee fruits with scissors, and put them in the basket.

Second stop: processing plant

After the plantation, we came to the largest coffee processing factory in Santonban, where the coffee berries harvested from the plantation are processed and graded.

First, we see farmers dumping the freshly picked beans into large pools for washing. Then they remove the skins and dry the beans. Then, in a huge and complex system of machines, they screen, sort and package the dried beans.

After visiting the processing plant, we can taste the freshly brewed, fragrant, rich, long-lasting, mellow, pure, high-quality coffee. This will be an unforgettable experience.

Stop 3: Tasting Tour

At Santonban, we can take part in a well-organized tasting tour. There are many professional baristas and roasters who will introduce us to coffee from different regions, types and roasting degrees.

During the tasting tour, we will learn how to identify the aroma, acidity, sweetness and bitterness of coffee, and understand how to use the brewing equipment correctly to make the best tasting coffee. In addition, we can also roast a cup of coffee with our own special flavor.

Summarize

Through this trip to the origin, we gained a deeper understanding of the efforts and techniques behind coffee from planting to processing to tasting, and also experienced the charming and vibrant cultural atmosphere of Sandunban.

Whether you love coffee or want to learn more about the story and process behind the drink, you can get what you want. Santonban’s origin tour will bring us an unforgettable and rich experience, making us love and cherish every cup of coffee even more.
