Coffee technology learning journeyAs a coffee lover, I have always been curious about the coffee making process and techniques. In this article, I will share my journey of learning coffee techniques. First encounter with coffeeI first came into contact with coffee during college. At that time, I drank a cup of hand-brewed coffee brewed by a classmate. The aroma and rich taste of the coffee made me very interested in this magical drink. From then on, I began to actively seek out information about coffee making and techniques, and gradually accumulated some basic knowledge by reading books, watching videos, and attending relevant training courses. Getting Started and PracticeIn order to gain a deeper understanding and mastery of coffee making techniques, I purchased my own grinder and French press and started practicing at home. The first few attempts were not successful because I did not master the fineness of the grind and the control of the water temperature. However, I did not give up, but kept adjusting and improving my operation. Through continuous practice and experimentation, I gradually mastered the impact of key factors such as coffee grinding, brewing time, and water volume on the taste of coffee. At the same time, I also learned some basic latte art techniques and began to try making complex coffees such as cappuccino and latte. Professional Training and CertificationIn order to learn coffee techniques more systematically, I signed up for a course offered by a professional coffee training institution. In the process, I was exposed to more advanced techniques and theoretical knowledge. During the training, we learned everything from choosing green beans to roasting, grinding beans and various brewing methods. We also conducted a lot of practical operations and participated in simulation competitions to improve our ability to complete various complex coffee making tasks within a limited time. Finally, after passing the assessment, I obtained the professional barista certification issued by an internationally recognized organization. This certification not only provides a clear assessment of my personal coffee skills, but also provides me with more opportunities for future development in the coffee industry. Continuous learning and innovationAlthough I have obtained professional barista certification, I have not stopped learning and exploring. Instead, I will continue to pay attention to industry trends and participate in various seminars and competitions. By communicating and sharing with other baristas, I continue to broaden my horizons and gain inspiration and innovative ideas. At the same time, I also try to develop some unique flavors of specialty coffee and promote them by organizing tasting events in my community. ConclusionAlthough my journey of learning coffee skills was full of challenges, it also gave me a great sense of achievement and satisfaction. Through continuous practice, training, and communication and cooperation with other colleagues, my technical level has gradually improved and gained professional recognition. In the future, in this field full of infinite possibilities, I will continue to learn and innovate to bring delicious coffee experience to more people. |
