There are so many benefits of drinking coffee, right?

Now, when I walk on the street, I can see people holding coffee cups every five minutes, walking, chatting and drinking. Even the Starbucks coffee shops that are now open in shopping malls are full of people waiting for coffee. What attracts these people to buy coffee? Is it the style? Is it the taste? Or is it health?

European Epidemiology states that "drinking two cups of coffee a day can extend your life by two years"! Coffee can reduce the risk of stroke, heart failure, cancer, diabetes, Parkinson's disease and all-cause mortality.

A report published in the Journal of the American Heart Association shows that regular intake of caffeine, such as coffee, chocolate and tea, does not cause palpitations, but is beneficial to cardiovascular health.

Another study from the Italian International Research Council suggests that among women who drink five cups of coffee a day, both systolic and diastolic blood pressure can be reduced to varying degrees, which means that women who drink five cups of coffee a day can effectively control high blood pressure.

Authoritative organizations such as the American Heart Association and the European Society of Cardiology believe that moderate coffee drinking (about 1-2 cups of coffee per day) by healthy adults does not increase the risk of heart disease and cardiovascular disease.

A study published in the international authoritative cardiovascular journal JAHA even showed that drinking three cups of coffee a day can prevent atrial fibrillation.

In addition to these, many studies in China and abroad have confirmed that drinking coffee in moderation can help reduce the risk of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases such as coronary heart disease and stroke.

In my country, five authoritative organizations (China Food and Nutrition Information Exchange Center, Nutrition and Health Institute of Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Health Communication Branch of Chinese Preventive Medicine Association, Food Hygiene Branch of Chinese Preventive Medicine Association, Food Nutrition and Health Branch of Chinese Society of Food Science and Technology) jointly issued the "Scientific Consensus on Coffee and Health". The consensus points out that it is appropriate for healthy adults to drink 3-5 cups a day, and it is also believed that about 3-4 cups of coffee a day may reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes.

The International Diabetes Federation, the American Diabetes Association and other organizations also believe that diabetics can drink coffee in "moderate amounts" and that pure coffee can be part of a healthy diet, but they must pay attention to controlling the intake of added sugar.

In addition, studies have shown that drinking coffee can also reduce the risk of breast cancer, endometrial cancer and liver cancer.

To sum up, drinking coffee does have many benefits, but friends should pay attention to moderate intake, do not drink coffee on an empty stomach, and do not drink coffee that is too strong or too sweet!
