Since 2000, he has organized and undertaken many projects funded by the National Education Commission, led the completion of many major national projects such as the 15th Five-Year Medical Research Sub-Project, Spark Plan, National 11.5 Support Plan Sub-Project and 863 High-Tech Project, and presided over the completion of many projects such as Peking University 211 Project, 985 Project, Ministry of Health Fund, Capital Medical Development Fund, etc. He is currently the main person in charge of the National 12th Five- Year Project. At the same time, he presided over many epidemiological studies on hypertension and related diseases. He is a major member of the expert group for the formulation of hypertension guidelines in China. He edited "Today's Hypertension", "Standard Manual for Self-Management of Hypertension Patients in China", and "Hypertension Therapeutics", and participated in the editing of "Practical Hypertension" and "Seven-Year Internal Medicine" Hypertension Section. Since 2009, he has been the editor-in-chief of the annual national continuing education project "New Advances in Diagnosis and Treatment of Hypertension". More than 40 articles have been published in the past 5 years. Dozens of master's students, doctoral students and postdoctoral students have graduated.
