Coffee bean brewing guide: How to make delicious coffee with a mellow taste

Coffee is a must-have drink for many people every morning. It not only refreshes the mind, but also brings warmth and enjoyment. However, making delicious coffee with a mellow taste is not an easy task. Here are some common brewing methods to help you easily enjoy a cup of delicious coffee at home.

1. Drip Brewing Method

Drip brewing is the most common and easiest method. First, prepare a filter paper and a dripper. Put a proper amount of ground coffee powder into the filter paper and place it above the dripper. Next, boil a proper amount of water in a kettle and cool it down slightly to about 90℃ (overheating will make the coffee bitter), then slowly pour it over the filter paper.

Wait for about 2-4 minutes (the time can be adjusted according to personal taste), and the coffee liquid will drip from the filter paper into the cup. The coffee brewed in this way has a soft taste and overflowing aroma, which is very suitable for people who like light taste.

2. French Press Brewing Method

The French press is a device that uses high pressure to fully contact water and coffee powder, which can produce rich and mellow coffee. First, put an appropriate amount of ground coffee powder (medium fineness is recommended) at the bottom of the French press, and then pour in an appropriate amount of hot water (temperature is about 90℃). After waiting for about 30 seconds, gently press the piston to fully mix the water and coffee powder.

As the piston moves downward, high pressure forces water to pass through the filter into the upper container, bringing the aromatic substances released during the steeping process into the cup. The whole process takes about 1-2 minutes. The coffee produced by this method has a deep color, rich flavor, and a balanced sweet and sour taste.

3. Espresso method

Espresso is a very strong coffee that is commonly used to make coffee drinks such as lattes and cappuccinos. To make espresso, you need an espresso machine and specially ground espresso powder.

First, pour the right amount of water into the water tank and put the espresso powder into the filter basket. Next, turn on the power and wait a few minutes for the machine to warm up. When the indicator light comes on, place the cup at the outlet and press the start button.

After about 25-30 seconds (the time can be adjusted according to personal taste), you can get a cup of espresso with a fragrant aroma, deep color and delicate cream color.

4. Cold Brew

Cold brewing is a special but increasingly popular method. It uses a long, low-temperature, slow extraction process to produce a smooth, non-bitter coffee. First, put the appropriate amount of ground coffee powder into a cold brew pot and pour in cold water.

Then, place the cold brew pot in the refrigerator and let it sit for at least 12 hours (preferably 24 hours) to steep. After the waiting time is over, the coffee liquid that is slowly poured out is the delicious coffee you expect with a soft taste, rich aroma and no bitter taste.

Summarize

The above introduces several common and easy methods of brewing coffee beans. Each method has its own characteristics and applicable scenarios. You can choose the right method to make a cup of delicious and intoxicating coffee according to your preference for taste and aroma.

Whether you use drip, French press, espresso or cold brew, as long as you master the correct operation steps and use high-quality freshly ground coffee beans, I believe you can easily make a cup of delicious coffee with a mellow taste and endless aftertaste!
