Coffee beans turn into grounds, giving them new life

Coffee beans are a magical food that can be turned into delicious coffee through grinding and brewing. However, in this process, coffee beans also go through a journey of transformation. From the original beans to the final grinding into dregs, they are rejuvenated.

1. Coffee beans in their original state

When we see a whole coffee bean, it is usually dark brown or black with a smooth and hard shell. These little essences contain rich and diverse flavors and aromas.

During the planting process, farmers carefully select high-quality varieties and cultivate them with care. They need to pay attention to factors such as soil, climate and water sources to ensure that each coffee bean can grow healthy and strong.

2. Shelling and fermentation

When coffee cherries are ripe, farmers pick them and remove the coffee beans from the cherries, a process commonly known as hulling.

Next, the beans go through a period of fermentation, a process in which the pulp is broken down by microorganisms and a series of chemical reactions occur that not only change the appearance and flavor of the beans, but also add complexity and depth.

3. Roasting and grinding

After fermentation, coffee beans need to be roasted to remove moisture and increase aroma. Under high temperature, the chemicals inside the coffee beans begin to transform and release a rich aroma.

After roasting, the coffee beans can be ground into powder. Different coarse and fine grinding methods can produce coffee grounds with different tastes and flavors.

4. Show new vitality

When we pour freshly brewed coffee into a cup, the grounds that were once whole and contained rich flavor and aroma hidden beneath their hard shell are released.

These coffee grounds are rich in caffeine and other beneficial substances, which can provide the energy and stimulation our body needs. After drinking a cup of fragrant coffee, we will feel refreshed and sharp-minded.

5. Conclusion

From their original state to their final state of grounds, coffee beans undergo a transformation process, during which they are rejuvenated and given new life, bringing us deliciousness and enjoyment.

Whether as a morning appetizer or a companion to afternoon tea, coffee has become an indispensable part of people's lives. Let us cherish every coffee bean that comes to us and feel its rich flavor and unique charm in every tasting.
