One hundred years ago, on the streets of New York, salesmen driving horse-drawn carriages went door to door selling freshly roasted coffee marked with the production date. Some businesses would even recycle coffee beans that had not been consumed for more than two weeks. There was no doubt that this must have been "good coffee" at the time. Fifty years later in the United States, young people either drink cola or take drugs; at the same time, the harmful theories of coffee such as "coffee causes heart disease" and "caffeine and congenital defects" scare housewives; instant coffee manufacturers are keen on making exaggerated TV commercials; and coffee roasters ridiculously promote that their own coffee can be heated repeatedly. All this can only show that no one cares about "good coffee" anymore. Another fifty years have passed, and today, all over the world, brainless talk such as "acrylamide in coffee causes cancer" and "coffee causes osteoporosis" still pops up from time to time; at the same time, fast food convenience stores use slogans such as "freshly ground" and "100% Arabica" to attract customers; newly opened boutique coffee shops will label the names of exotic tropical countries and estates, as well as various flavor references. It seems that it is time to sit down and think seriously about what is "good coffee". In the next year, I would like to visit those who are serious about making coffee through pictures, texts, and videos, and discuss with them what is a "good cup of coffee" today from the following eight aspects. In summary, the quality of a cup of coffee involves the common pursuit and strict self-discipline of all links, from coffee farmers, green bean merchants, roasters to baristas. In fact, the problem does not have to be that complicated, I just want to appear to be more thoughtful. If it's early in the morning, I want to be able to use simple and easy-to-use utensils, take ten minutes and use simple and reliable methods to make a cup of coffee without any major mistakes. If I need to go to a coffee shop, I want to quickly find a place that is serious about making coffee rather than decorating. I think many people think this way. What is good coffee?
