Tasting

Start a useful tasting notebook

Plain, specific observations are more useful than impressive vocabulary.

Understand the choice

Taste at more than one temperature. Write down an aroma, a sweetness impression, the quality of acidity, body and the finish. Separate what you recognize from what you merely expect because of a label.

Put it into practice

Include the recipe and context. “More drying than yesterday with the same coffee” gives you a concrete experiment. The tasting-notes tool stores records on the current browser; export a copy if you need a backup.

Keep the conversation useful

Share your actual recipe or experience, identify the coffee or equipment and explain what changed. A clear question with measurements makes the discussion easier for others to answer.
