Accounts store an email address, display name and password hash. Public profiles, recipes, stories, reviews and comments show the information you choose to publish. Contact and enquiry forms are available to site administrators and may be included in notification emails when configured.
Essential storage
Sessions protect sign-in and form submissions. Saved products, tool notebooks and preferences use browser storage on the device. Export tool records before clearing browser data. Anti-spam checks keep limited technical event records according to the site’s configured retention.
External services
Remote photos, official product links and any enabled Amazon content connect to their respective providers. Translation requests may send the selected text to the configured translation provider. Newsletter subscription requires confirmation and each message includes an unsubscribe route.

Use Contact us for account questions, access or deletion requests, privacy concerns and factual corrections. Avoid including sensitive information in public posts.
