Handcrafted coffee: from beans to aroma

Handcrafted coffee: from beans to aroma

Handmade coffee is a unique art, which is full of meticulousness and patience in the process from coffee beans to mellow taste. Through careful selection, grinding and brewing, we can enjoy the purest coffee flavor.

First of all, choosing high-quality coffee beans is the key to making delicious coffee. Coffee beans produced in different regions have different flavor characteristics, such as latte produced in Brazil, fruity aroma produced in Colombia, etc. When choosing, pay attention to check whether the beans are uniform in color, intact without cracks, and have a strong and fragrant aroma.

Secondly, the coarseness of the grinding needs to be adjusted according to the brewing method. For hand brewing, medium to slightly coarse particles are more suitable; for espresso or French press, the coffee beans need to be crushed into powder more finely and evenly. This ensures that the water can fully contact the coffee and extract the best taste.

Finally, the time and temperature of the brewing process are also important factors that affect the taste of coffee. For hand brewing, hot water at 90-96℃ is usually used for soaking, and the time is controlled to be around 2-4 minutes. For espresso, high-pressure steam needs to be quickly extracted through the powder, and the time is controlled between 20-30 seconds. This ensures that the aroma and taste in the coffee are released to the maximum extent.

In short, handmade coffee requires us to carefully select high-quality beans, grind carefully and brew patiently. Only in this way can we get delicious coffee with a mellow taste and pure flavor.
