The whole process of coffee bean cultivation revealed: a magical journey from seeds to fragrant coffee

Coffee beans are one of the indispensable drinks in our daily life, but the process of growing coffee beans is a magical and complicated journey. From seeds to fragrant coffee, it needs to go through multiple stages and environmental conditions.

First, the seed is the starting point of the coffee tree. Under suitable temperature and humidity, the ripe coffee cherries are picked and the pulp containing two seeds (i.e. coffee beans) is separated. After the seeds are cleaned, they are dried in the sun for at least several weeks to remove moisture and maintain the appropriate moisture content to promote germination.

Next, these treated seeds will be sown in specific soil for germination. Warm, moist soil rich in organic matter is essential for the growth of coffee seedlings. Usually, the first seedlings can be seen on the ground within 3-4 weeks.

Finally, after about 3-4 years of growth into mature trees worth picking, it is time to start harvesting. During picking, farmers will carefully select the ripe coffee cherries and separate the seeds. These seeds will be washed and fermented again to remove the pulp residue and increase the flavor of the coffee beans.

After harvesting, coffee beans need to be dried and roasted. First, they are laid out on a flat surface to dry for several weeks to reduce the moisture content. Then, they are roasted at a specific temperature to change the color, aroma, and taste of the coffee beans.

Finally, after a series of complex and precise steps, we can taste a cup of delicious coffee. From seeds to coffee, this magical journey involves many links: from selecting suitable soil to controlling humidity and temperature, all of which are indispensable elements.

In summary, growing a high-quality and delicious coffee bean is not an easy task. Only through a combination of patience and skills can high-quality and delicious coffee beans be cultivated. Therefore, behind every cup of coffee there are countless farmers and professionals' hard work and dedication.
