Coffee bean brewing: novel methods, techniques and tips!

Coffee is a must-have drink for many people in the morning, and how to brew a delicious cup of coffee has become the focus of many coffee lovers. In addition to traditional drip and French press, there is also a novel method to try - brewing directly with coffee beans.

First of all, it is very important to choose coffee beans suitable for direct brewing. Because this method does not require the use of a filter, it is recommended to choose beans with a coarse grind, larger particles and even distribution. This will avoid too much sediment at the end of the drink.

Secondly, you also need to pay attention to the water temperature. Compared with the traditional brewing method, direct brewing requires a slightly higher water temperature (about 90-95°C) to extract more aroma and flavor. If the water temperature is too low, it may cause a cloudy taste; if the water temperature is too high, it may make the bitter taste too prominent.

Also, pay attention to time control. Since there is no filter to limit the flow rate, it is recommended to control the steeping time to about 3-4 minutes. If the time is too long, the coffee will become too strong; if the time is too short, the flavor of the coffee may not be fully extracted.

In addition, to increase the taste and layering, you can try using different amounts of water and brewing methods when brewing. For example, you can pre-soak with a small amount of water (also called "bloom"), and then gradually add the remaining water after the beans swell. This will allow the coffee to release its aroma and flavor more evenly.

Finally, there are some details to pay attention to before enjoying. Since there is no filter to remove sediment in the direct brewing method, it is recommended to gently tilt the mouth of the pot when pouring into the cup, and try to avoid pouring the sediment at the bottom into the cup. In addition, you can wait a little while before drinking to let the coffee clarify.

In short, brewing directly with coffee beans is a novel and interesting method. By choosing the right beans, controlling the water temperature and time, and trying different brewing techniques, we can enjoy more layers of rich and aromatic coffee. Whether it is the first cup of drink in the morning or a cup of deliciousness in your leisure time, this brewing method is worth a try.
