Roasting, grinding and brewing coffee: the perfect process for making a cup of delicious coffee!

Coffee is a must-have drink for many people every morning. A cup of fragrant coffee can refresh the mind and bring people a pleasant enjoyment. However, making a perfect cup of coffee is not an easy task. It requires three steps: roasting, grinding and brewing.

The first is the roasting process. After being picked, coffee beans need to be roasted to release their rich aroma and taste. In this process, it is very important to control the temperature and time properly. Generally speaking, roasting at a higher temperature for a longer time will make the coffee beans darker and emit a strong and bitter taste; while light roasting at a lower temperature for a shorter time will retain more of the original flavor and have a softer taste.

Next is the grinding process. Choosing the right degree of grinding for coffee beans has a crucial impact on the brewing result. If the coffee beans are ground into powder, more caffeine and bitter substances will be released during the brewing process, and the taste will be stronger; if the coffee beans are ground coarser, the brewed coffee will have a lighter taste. Therefore, when choosing the grinding degree, you need to adjust it according to your personal preference.

Finally, it’s the brewing stage. Whether you’re using a drip filter, French press, or espresso machine, you need to master the right water temperature and time. Generally speaking, the water temperature should be around 90°C and remain stable; the time should be adjusted according to the specific situation. For example, when using a drip filter, try pouring the water evenly over the coffee powder and wait for about 3-4 minutes for it to be fully extracted.

By following the above three steps, you can get a cup of delicious coffee. Of course, you can also innovate and try according to your own preferences in this process. In any case, when enjoying a perfectly made cup of mellow coffee, please remember: the process of tasting coffee is also a kind of enjoyment.
