The process from green coffee beans to aromatic coffee

Coffee is one of the most popular drinks in the world, but its production process is quite complicated. From raw coffee beans to mellow coffee, it needs to go through multiple links and careful processing. The following will focus on this process to introduce the coffee production process.

First, we need to purchase fresh green coffee beans from the origin. These beans usually come from high-altitude mountainous areas in tropical regions, such as Brazil, Colombia and other countries. When picking, we should choose beans that are moderately mature, bright in color and without defects. Then these green beans are washed and peeled, and dried in the sun or mechanically removed.

Next, the clean green beans after preliminary processing are transported to the roasting plant for roasting. In this link, each different type and flavor of coffee has its own specific time and temperature requirements. Usually, it is heated at high temperature for about 10-15 minutes, and stirred continuously to ensure uniform heating and evaporate the internal moisture. During the roasting process, the color of the green beans gradually darkens, while releasing the unique aroma of coffee.

The last step is to grind the roasted coffee beans into powder and brew them into the coffee we love. This process is usually done by professional baristas. They will choose the appropriate grinding degree and brewing method according to different types and taste characteristics to ensure that the final drink has a rich and strong taste. In this link, factors such as water quality, water temperature, and extraction time also have an important impact on the final taste.

In summary, from raw coffee beans to aromatic coffee, it needs to go through multiple links such as procurement, cleaning, peeling, drying, transportation to the processing plant for roasting. Each link requires careful operation and controlled conditions to ensure the quality of the final product. Only after these careful processes can you enjoy a cup of delicious coffee with a rich aroma and taste.
