Guide to brewing drip coffee

Drip coffee is a convenient and quick way to brew coffee. It does not require additional equipment and cumbersome operation steps. Just hang the coffee bag on the mouth of the cup, pour in hot water and enjoy delicious coffee. The following will introduce you how to brew drip coffee correctly.

Preparation

First, prepare the necessary materials: a pack of drip coffee, a large cup or mug, and appropriate amount of boiling water.

Secondly, make sure your work area is clean and tidy, and wash the containers and tools you use.

Finally, before you start brewing, make sure you have chosen your favorite flavor and brand of drip coffee.

Step 1: Unpack

Pick up a freshly sealed bag of drip coffee. Gently tear open the seal on the top of the bag and carefully take out a complete paper filter bag without any damage or leakage.

Step 2: Hang the coffee bag

Fold the two ears of the paper filter bag in half to make it a triangle. Then, let the ears hang over the edge of the cup.

Make sure the coffee bag does not fall into the cup and that there is enough contact area with the hot water.

Step 3: Pour in hot water

When brewing drip coffee with boiling water, please use hot water at an appropriate temperature. The optimal temperature range is 90°C-95°C.

Slowly and evenly pour in the pre-heated water until it covers the coffee bag and reaches the desired concentration. If you like a strong taste, you can add more water; if you like a lighter taste, just reduce the amount of water.

Step 4: Wait for precipitation

After pouring in the hot water, please wait for about 2-4 minutes for the coffee to fully settle and release its aroma. This time can be adjusted according to personal taste.

At the same time, while waiting, you can gently stir the coffee with a spoon to help better release the flavor of the coffee.

Step 5: Take out the coffee bag

When you think the coffee has reached the desired strength, carefully remove the paper filter bag that is hanging over the edge of the cup. Be careful not to touch the hot water or splashes of hot liquid.

You can use a tool such as a spoon or tongs to assist in removing the paper filter bag.

Step 6: Enjoy

Now, you have successfully brewed a cup of delicious drip coffee! You can add appropriate amount of milk, sugar or other seasonings to adjust the taste and flavor according to your personal taste.

Sit down and comfortably enjoy this cup of fragrant and rich-tasting drip coffee!

Tips:

  • Choosing premium brands and freshly packaged drip coffee can provide better taste and aroma.

  • If you like your coffee strong, try using two coffee bags.

  • To maintain the freshness and taste of the coffee, please use it as soon as possible after opening the package and keep the unused drip coffee sealed.

I hope this guide to brewing drip coffee can help you and allow you to easily enjoy delicious coffee at home!
