A complete guide to brewing coffee powder to easily enjoy the aroma of coffee

Coffee is one of the essential drinks for many people every day. If you want to easily enjoy the aroma of coffee at home, the easiest way is to use coffee powder to brew it. Here are some tips on how to use coffee powder to brew delicious coffee.

Choosing the right coffee grounds

First of all, it is very important to choose the right coffee powder. There are a variety of coffee powders with different flavors and origins on the market. If you like a strong taste and mellow aroma, you can choose dark roasted or Italian roasted coffee beans and grind them into fine and uniform particles.

Prepare the necessary tools

Before you start brewing, make sure you have the tools you need. This includes: a hand brewing kettle with a filter and a separate kettle, an electric or manual grinder, a measuring spoon, a stirring stick, and a kettle.

The correct ratio of coffee powder to water

When brewing coffee, the ratio of coffee powder to water is very important. Generally speaking, you need to use about 15 grams of coffee powder for every 250 ml of water. You can adjust this ratio to suit your taste and use more or less coffee powder.

Grinding and Brewing

First, grind the coffee beans you selected into a grinder. If you use a manual grinder, make sure it is adjusted to the appropriate fineness. Then, add a proper amount of boiling water to the hand brewing pot and wait for about 30 seconds for the temperature to drop to around 90°C.

Next, place filter paper on the filter, and pre-wet the filter paper to remove impurities and paper taste. With the help of a measuring spoon, sprinkle the appropriate amount of coffee powder evenly on the filter paper and gently shake the hand brewer to evenly distribute it.

Before you start brewing, tilt the kettle and pour in a small amount of water to allow the coffee grounds to fully soak. Wait for about 30 seconds, then slowly tilt the kettle and pour in the remaining hot water evenly.

During the brewing process, please use the stirring stick to gently stir the coffee liquid to ensure that the coffee powder is fully mixed with the water. The entire brewing process takes about 2-3 minutes.

Enjoy delicious coffee

When you have completed the above steps, you can enjoy your homemade delicious coffee. Pour the hot coffee into the cup and add appropriate amount of milk, sugar or other seasonings according to your personal taste.

Finally, in a comfortable and quiet environment, savor the rich aroma, slightly bitter and acidic taste. Enjoy this unique and pleasant time between you and coffee!

Tips:

  • Use fresh and well-preserved coffee beans for better taste.
  • Adjust the ratio of ground coffee to water to achieve your ideal strength according to your personal taste.
  • Keep your pour-over pot and cup clean when brewing to avoid affecting the taste of the coffee.
  • Try coffee beans from different origins and roasting degrees to discover your favorite flavor characteristics.

I hope this guide can help you easily enjoy a cup of delicious coffee at home. Whether you wake up in the morning, have an afternoon tea break, or relax at night, let this aroma permeate your life!
