Hand-brewed coffee tutorial: dancing gracefully and enjoying the aroma

Hand-poured coffee is a unique coffee making method. Through delicate operation and ritual, it can extract coffee with rich aroma and taste. Here is a set of elegant and unique hand-poured coffee tutorials.

Prepare tools and materials

First, we need to prepare the following tools and materials:

  • 1. Coffee beans: Choose single-origin beans that are fresh and roasted to a moderate degree.
  • 2. Hand-poured kettle: You can choose a hand-poured kettle made of glass or ceramic.
  • 3. Filter paper: Use filter paper with moderate thickness and uniform texture.
  • 4. Bean grinder: a device used to grind coffee beans into appropriate coarseness.
  • 5. Scale: used to accurately weigh coffee beans and moisture ratio.
  • 6. Thermometer: used to control water temperature.
  • 7. Kettle: used to boil water.
  • 8. Manual blender: used to blend coffee.

Step 1: Grinding the beans

First, put the fresh coffee beans into the grinder and choose the appropriate coarseness according to your personal taste. Generally speaking, medium fineness is a good choice. Then, pour the ground coffee powder into the hand brewing pot and gently shake the hand brewing pot to evenly distribute it.

Step 2: Pre-wet the filter paper

Before using the filter paper, we need to pre-wet it. Place the filter paper in the filter screen above the hand brewing pot and wet it with boiling water. This can remove possible impurities on the filter paper and improve the coffee precipitation speed and taste.

Step 3: Soak in water

Next, after preparing boiling water at a suitable temperature (usually 90°C-95°C), start the water filling and soaking process. First, pour about twice the weight of the coffee powder into the hand brewing pot. After the coffee powder is fully soaked, slowly pour the remaining water. This ensures that the coffee powder is fully in contact with the water and releases more aroma.

Step 4: Brewing process

After the water is poured in, use a hand blender to gently stir the coffee liquid to mix it evenly. Then wait for about 30 seconds for the coffee to settle. Then, pour the remaining hot water evenly into the hand brewing pot at a consistent speed and strength.

Step 5: Enjoy the delicious food

The last step is to enjoy the elegant and fragrant hand-brewed coffee you made yourself. Pour the coffee that has settled and is at a suitable temperature (usually 60°C-70°C) into the cup at an angle, and savor it carefully, which contains the love for life and the pursuit of quality life attitude.

summary

Through the above simple but important steps, we can make hand-brewed coffee with rich taste and aroma. Whether you enjoy it alone at home or share it with friends, it can bring a unique taste experience. So, why not spend some time and effort to enjoy the aroma in the process of elegant dancing.
