Perfect ratio! Make a soy milk latte that tastes better than Starbucks~

— What? Better than Starbucks? Really?

——It’s true for Baa-chan (doge innocent face), everyone has different tastes!

I actually like the taste of Starbucks soy milk coffee, which is warm and smooth. The taste is slightly lighter than the classic milk coffee, and the flavor duo of soybeans and coffee beans is added, which makes the aftertaste more mellow and rich.

And soy milk coffee is a great blessing for those who are lactose intolerant or don’t like drinking milk but want to drink coffee!

Without further ado, let’s talk about how to make our “golden ratio” soy milk coffee!

This is the recipe that I saw when a Taiwanese blogger secretly asked the female clerk at a Starbucks in Japan, so it should be quite reliable!

The soy milk used in the soy milk coffee at Neon Starbucks is said to be specially made to pair with espresso.

In fact, to create a similar flavor, first, the soy milk should be sweet and warm, not cold! Second, make soy milk foam~ (Students who don’t have a milk frother or are lazy like me can try to use a milk pot to boil the soy milk until it bubbles. Although the milk foam is not as dense, it is better than nothing~)

(TIPS: Add 2 shots of espresso to taste the bean flavor!)

Ingredients preparation

Ingredients: 1 bag of drip coffee (10g), 90ml of slightly sugared soy milk. (Take 1 mug of 210ml as an example)

[Small/Medium] 1 espresso + soy milk to 90% full + 1 spoon of soy milk foam [ Large ] 2 espressos + soy milk to 90% full + 1 spoon of soy milk foam

Proportion:

【Italian coffee machine】Espresso:soy milk=1:2.

[Drip coffee/filter paper coffee or American coffee machine] Coffee: soy milk = 3:2. (120ml coffee + 80ml soy milk)

Here’s how to do it:

1) Heat the soy milk in water or directly to 65~75℃.

(2) Keep the cup warm so that the coffee does not cool down too quickly.

(3) Slowly pour a small amount of hot water (90-92°C) into the cup, pause for 20 seconds to allow the coffee to fully absorb the water, and then pour water in 2-3 times until 120ml of slightly stronger coffee is extracted (originally 140ml can be brewed).

(4) Slowly pour the soy milk into the coffee and add an appropriate amount of soy milk foam.

The wonderful taste of coffee blended with soy milk, the double aroma of soybeans and coffee beans, interweaving a simple and mellow taste, plus a little soy milk foam, warm and smooth, delicious! It seems that you can feel the natural energy of the earth.

Adding ice cubes is also a good idea in the summer. In addition, you can use stainless steel straws at home to make it more environmentally friendly!

The taste of coffee is very subjective and can be adjusted according to your preference. The above ratio is provided for your reference, so you can easily enjoy a relaxing coffee time at home. Soy milk coffee should have a slight sweetness to taste good! Slightly sugared soy milk cleverly brings out the aroma of coffee. If you use sugar-free soy milk, you can add sugar as needed.
