This Italian Delonghi Magnifica S ECAM 22.110.B is a compact bean-to-cup coffee machine equipped with a manual cappuccino system that can make milk foam for cappuccino, a coffee cup tray and a soft water filter. The machine is produced in Europe and ranks first in sales in the automatic coffee machine category on Amazon Germany. In terms of parameters, the CRF has a pipeless system and fast pump pressure conversion, which is more suitable for home use. The water tank capacity is 1.8L, the pump pressure is 15BAR, and the bean bin capacity is 250g, which is more than enough for home use.

Apart from online shopping, I can’t think of where to buy a Delonghi coffee machine. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a physical store selling Delonghi. 3. Unboxing experience

Regarding the model, since there are two colors, black and white, they correspond to B and SB. Mine is black, so it is B.

The packaging box is very simple, with two layers in total. The outer packaging box is a yellow solid-color packaging box, and the inner one is the original packaging box, which is colorful.

It can be seen from the outer packaging box that the coffee machine is made in Romania, the voltage is 220v~240v, which is suitable for our country and can be plugged directly.

The white plastic bag contains a soft water filter, which is placed in the water tank. The black spoon is used to scoop coffee powder, and you can only put one spoon at a time, and one spoon can make a cup of coffee. So this function feels quite annoying, it is recommended to pour in coffee beans directly, 250g can be poured in at a time, which is enough for family use for a long time. The box in the upper right corner contains descaling liquid, which needs to be used for descaling and cleaning after long-term use.

Back to the topic! Remove the drip tray and grounds container. The small black square on the top is for coffee powder. The round metal knob in the middle is the coffee flavor adjustment switch. The leftmost coffee flavor is the lightest, and the rightmost is the strongest. The left and right sides of the knob are the control panel switches. For details, please refer to the Chinese manual.

Open the lid and there is an instruction manual inside, which explains that this is where the coffee beans are placed, and that the round button is used to adjust the degree of grinding of the coffee beans.

4. Trial production of coffee

I bought a coffee bean from JD.com that received a lot of positive reviews. It also came with a bag of coffee powder. Since this machine is suitable for it, I bought it. The delivery speed is very fast. I bought it at night and it arrived in the morning. After receiving it, I tried to make two cups of coffee powder first, and I was ready to get a feel for its functions first.

The ones above are coffee beans. I bought two cans in total, one medium roasted and one dark roasted.

The difference between medium roast and dark roast is the time the coffee beans are roasted:

Deep roasted coffee has a stronger taste and a slightly stronger bitterness. It is suitable for buyers who like a strong taste. The taste will be stronger, bitterer, and richer. It is suitable for making espresso and then mixing into Italian coffee (latte, cappuccino, caramel macchiato, mocha).

Medium roasted coffee has a moderate taste, balanced acidity and bitterness, which is suitable for most people. Medium roasted coffee beans will have a higher acidity and a lighter taste, which is suitable for brewing coffee using the drip method.

When you turn it on for the first time, the machine will preheat, and then you can press the corresponding button when the green light comes on. The green button on the left is for small cup and two small cups, and the green button on the right is for large cup and two large cups. Before making coffee, it will run hot water inside to ensure the coffee temperature. Every time it is turned off, it will automatically clean and shut down. The time from standby to automatic shutdown can be set by the user, and the water temperature can also be set by the user.

My 320ml cup, if I choose a large cup capacity, will give me half a cup of coffee, which is enough for me to drink. If it is not enough, I can make more, which is very convenient.

It was my first time making coffee, and the ground coffee was pretty good. It looked delicious and had a strong aroma. It tasted better than coffee powder.
