Many of their models differ in appearance, but all use the power platforms and technologies of Honda's two joint ventures. Today, we are not going to delve into Honda's approach, but to talk about Sundiro Honda's newly launched CBF190TR. Although it uses the same power platform as Wuyang Honda's 190, it was launched a few months later. Perhaps it was because of the original design of the appearance that it was not launched at the same time, but it finally came.

If we talk about the new Honda CBF190TR, we have to talk about the Wuyang Honda 190. Both models have Honda blood flowing through them, and there must be some similarities in the design concept. I still remember that Honda unveiled its latest concept car CB650 in Paris last year. This car inherited the design concept of Honda Neo Sports Café Concept, that is, the new sports coffee style.

The most eye-catching part of the CBF190TR's appearance is the asymmetrical design on both sides of the fuel tank. Although the symmetrical design of the vehicle has a neat beauty, it is more novel and eye-catching than the asymmetrical design with similarities and differences on both sides. It can also break the constraints of convention and has a unique design.

The headlight design of the Sundiro Honda CBF190TR continues the Honda CB family style and is very recognizable. The circular upper and lower light groups and light strips represent the design concept of the Honda CB family.

CBF190TR is equipped with high-brightness LED headlights and introduces Honda's core technology. The luminous intensity of ordinary LED high beams is generally 33,000cd, while that of 190TR can reach 43,000cd, and the lighting effect of high beams is 30% higher than that of ordinary LED headlights. The luminous intensity of ordinary LED low beams is generally 18,000cd, while that of 190TR can reach 30,000cd, and the lighting effect is improved by 67%.

The handlebar buttons are regular driving buttons, including start switch, ignition off switch, high and low beams, turn signals and other basic configurations.

The shock absorber is moderately tuned, so it can provide good support when entering and exiting corners. Braking system

The CBF190TR uses Nissin brand front and rear disc brakes, dual-piston dual-caliper brakes on the front wheel, equipped with ABS braking system, and single-disc single-caliper brakes on the rear wheel.

CBF190TR uses Cheng Shin brand turtleback tires, which can provide good durability and grip. The tire specifications are 110/70-17 for both the front and rear.

Powertrain

CBF190TR is equipped with New Honda's 184.4mL displacement, four-stroke air-cooled OHC two-valve international 5-speed engine, compression ratio 9.5:1, maximum power 12.4/8000rpm, maximum torque 16.3/7000rpm, maximum speed 104km/h, and PGM-FI electronic fuel injection system. This engine is equipped with a balance shaft, with smooth start and stable output. The engine power did not give riders a big surprise, after all, it is a fun-looking car, and it is enough to meet daily needs.

The CBF190TR has a length, width and height of 2019*822*1083mm, a wheelbase of 1356mm and a curb weight of 142kg. Is the length of the vehicle specially designed for 2019? But it does have a lot of meaning. The vehicle looks well-proportioned and fits the retro style of sports.

First try experience

A brief test drive was conducted in the afternoon of the press conference. Due to the small venue, there was no sudden acceleration. The throttle response was sensitive, the power output was smooth and delicate, and the gear shifting was very easy without any sense of lag. Due to venue restrictions, the gear was only switched to 4th gear and the speed reached the limit at nearly 70km/h. There was no resonance throughout the whole process, and almost no vibration was felt. The comfort was very good. The riding posture was comfortable, the waist was straight, and the width of the left and right handlebars was comfortable and natural.

What is impressive is the brakes and tires of this car. The front brake has ABS, so you can brake hard and suddenly without worry. Since the rear brake has no ABS, people generally dare not step on the rear brake hard. But the editor has seen some merchants with excellent riding skills who actually stepped on the rear brake to the bottom. The estimated speed was above 60km/h. The entire rear wheel was locked, and the inertia dragged the locked rear wheel and slid on the concrete ground for about four meters, making a huge friction noise, but the vehicle still did not slide obviously, and the brake line was still straight (most people should not imitate this action). This shows that the Chengshin turtleback tires used on the CBF190TR have very strong grip, and also greatly reduce the risk of no ABS on the rear brake during heavy braking.

In addition to the CBF190TR city version introduced above, Sundiro Honda can also customize and modify the car according to the user's preferences. We also saw two customized modified CBF190TR models in the test drive area. One is an off-road model with steel wheels, and the exhaust has also been modified by the manufacturer, and a small windshield has been added, so that people can see the off-road capability of the CBF190TR at a glance; the other exhaust has been changed to a dual exhaust, and a decorative shell has been added to the rear seat. After the modification, it has a more retro feel, turning the sporty city version of the CBF190TR into a model with more retro charm.

As for the price of CBF190TR, judging from previous models, the prices of the Xindiro Honda and Wuyang Honda, which are equipped with the same power platform, are still somewhat different. The price of Yingdao is 17,380, and the Xindiro Honda is generally several hundred yuan lower than that of Wuyang Honda. Although Xindiro Honda has not yet announced the price, it is still possible that the price of CBF190TR is speculated to be 16,800.
