In the first round, representatives from all parties performed well and no contestant was eliminated. After all, there is still a way to get takeaway coffee by downloading one more APP or following one more WeChat public account.

Round 2: Prices

Luckin Coffee: A large hot Americano costs 21 yuan, and a large hot latte costs 24 yuan, but I was smart enough to use the coffee coupons I had bought in advance in my coffee wallet, so I actually paid 0 yuan , which made me feel like I made a big profit .

Starbucks: At 17:28 in the afternoon, they told me that they were closed and would not accept orders (which saved me money).

Costa: A large hot Americano costs 30 yuan, a large hot latte costs 24 yuan, and the delivery fee is 9 yuan, with a total cost of 73 yuan. However, when paying, I used Meituan’s 6 yuan coupon and actually paid 67 yuan.

In the second round, Starbucks was eliminated first. The one with the most price advantage was Luckin Coffee. The same large hot Americano and large hot latte were 10 yuan cheaper per cup than Costa. If you spend more than 35 yuan, you can get free delivery. If you buy coffee coupons in advance (buy five get five free), you can drink "Bawang coffee". Because Costa gave us cookies, we entered the next round of evaluation.

Round 3: Delivery time and service

Luckin Coffee: Order was placed at 16:58, and it was shown as delivered before 17:31. It was actually delivered at 17:10, which only took 12 minutes . There will be a text message notification after placing the order, and it will be delivered by SF Express.

Costa: Order placed at 17:10, showed delivery at 17:49, actually delivered at 17:33, took 23 minutes , delivered by Meituan.

When we order takeout even for coffee, our demand is: we want to drink it immediately. After all, hot coffee needs to be drunk while it is hot, otherwise it will be very bad for the taste. Obviously, luckin coffee won the third round. Costa took 23 minutes, and the coffee was still warm when it was delivered, so it entered the next round.

Round 4: Takeaway Packaging

Luckin Coffee: The packaging is made of kraft paper handbags, which is high-end and classy. It also contains a very hard coffee base to prevent spilling.

Costa: Plastic bag on the outside, gift box inside.

The packaging of the two brands in this round is comparable, but it can be seen from Costa's packaging that the cookies included are already broken, so luckin coffee has a slight advantage.

Round 5: Coffee Taste

Luckin Coffee: American coffee has a mellower taste; latte has thick milk foam.

As you can see, the spillage of luckin coffee is negligible, while the spillage of Costa coffee is serious.
