A convenient choice for urban white-collar workers - Review of Eagle Collection Espresso Liquid

First of all, I have to state that I am proud of having a Chinese stomach and I have always kept a distance from all Western food. I don’t know much about coffee. Apart from drinking coffee for a while during my son’s college entrance examination, I don’t really know much about it. Therefore, I can only explore this coffee as an amateur, hoping it will be helpful to everyone. Thanks again to Toutiao for giving me this review opportunity.

1. Appearance Impression

The outer packaging is as shown in the picture. As you can see, this coffee is presented in liquid form. The industrialized mass production of food has always been criticized by many consumers. Although instant coffee is convenient, the flavors and non-dairy creamers contained in it not only enrich the taste, but also give people the impression of being eager for quick success and unscrupulous. Therefore, many people choose to buy coffee beans and process and brew coffee by themselves, but it is extremely troublesome. Don't ask me how I know, the American coffee pot at home is still idle.

Eagle Coffee is presented in the form of cold-brewed liquid, which needs to be refrigerated and has a shelf life of only 60 days . This stringent requirement will give people a sense of trust and believe in the authenticity of its raw materials and processing methods. The attribute of "natural" is naturally one of the important plus points.

The large bag contains ten small packages, which are easy to carry and suitable for the fast-paced urban life. As the package says: life is hurried, but coffee is not.

Although the main brand of the product is convenience and natural, there are still some flaws in the design of details. The small package is set with a tearing notch, but it gets stuck when it is torn halfway, so you still need to prepare a pair of scissors.

2. Intuitive experience

Pour the original liquid into the cup, and you will clearly feel a sticky feeling during the process. Many bubbles will appear in the cup and last for a long time. You can intuitively feel that the essence is concentrated.

According to the instructions on the packaging, there are three ways to drink coffee: latte, Americano, and sparkling coffee. As the lowest temperature in the area has reached single digits, I gave up the cold sparkling coffee first for my Chinese stomach; and since I had run out of milk at home, Americano became the only choice.

After pouring in hot water, you can see that the coffee liquid has become significantly lighter and slightly clearer. After taking a sip, I was shocked. It was bitter and slightly sour. Poor my Chinese stomach. So I added two spoons of brown sugar, and the world suddenly became much better.

As mentioned above, I have an American coffee maker at home, and there is still a bag of coffee beans in the corner of the refrigerator. Although I don’t have much experience, I can still make a judgment based on a small-scale comparison.

In general, compared with American coffee brewed from freshly ground coffee beans, the taste of Yingji coffee liquid is still relatively high. The aroma of coffee, the delicate taste of the mouth, and the restoration are very good. The only drawback is that after brewing with warm water, there will be a slightly sour aftertaste, which needs further improvement.

In order to further experience it, I bought another box of milk and tried the latte method.

As you can see, the appearance is basically the same as instant coffee. Since I like lactose-free and fat-free milk, the aroma is slightly inferior, but isn’t that what “natural” means?

3. Related Science Popularization

Finally, let me introduce the cold brewing process. According to the Internet, the cold brewing process is a long, slow, low-temperature extraction process that can effectively filter out the miscellaneous flavors and sourness of coffee, making the taste smooth and soft. I believe this is also the confidence of the merchants in one pack equals one cup.

4. Final summary

This coffee concentrate from Yingji is the most suitable for deep coffee lovers. It is original, easy to brew, and easy to carry. It meets the ultimate pursuit of quality of life of urban white-collar workers in a fast-paced life. The price is also affordable for most people. It is a good product.

Personally, I feel that the most suitable way to consume this coffee liquid is to add it to the freezing point to increase the flavor and satisfy your own requirements for coffee taste. I don't know if this is true.
