What is the difference between drip coffee and instant coffee? Here's what drip coffee tastes best!

Recently, I found that my colleagues who love coffee in the office brought a new thing: drip coffee, and they also claimed that this little thing has become the most popular small bag recently. With a heart of seeking truth (xiang) and being pragmatic (ka) (fei), I really studied it. If you don’t like instant coffee, but you find hand brewing coffee troublesome, you might as well learn about drip coffee. 90% of you will love it.

Instant? I can't tell the difference.

Instant coffee: The active ingredients in coffee are extracted into water and then dried. During the drying process, the natural aroma and essence of coffee will be volatilized in large quantities. Therefore, most of the coffee flavor you taste is simulated by artificial flavors.

The coffee beans in instant coffee are the lowest grade coffee beans in bulk purchase, because these coffee beans are of poor quality and cannot be sold individually. They can only be used for instant processing.

Drip coffee: Made directly from coffee beans, it does not contain additives and is insoluble in water. Put the coffee powder into the filter bag, and then use the cardboard on both sides of the filter bag to hang the filter bag on the cup. Add an appropriate amount of hot water to the cup and discard the filter bag after brewing. Then you can drink the ground coffee just like drip brewing, and the acid, sweetness, bitterness, mellowness and fragrance of the coffee are perfectly reflected.

Summary: drip coffee is the middle ground between instant coffee and freshly ground coffee. If you think instant coffee is not tasty and healthy, but freshly ground coffee is too troublesome (you need to prepare a lot of equipment), then drip coffee is your best choice.

Four steps to brew drip coffee:

Recommended drip coffee:

1. UCC Filter Coffee Ear Drip

This coffee is my favorite. It is cost-effective. Simply put, it is delicious and not expensive. You can discard the coffee bag after brewing. When brewing, the natural coffee aroma fills the entire corridor. I will bring some milk to add to it, which makes the taste more mellow. Every morning, I am awakened by the smell of coffee when I am sleepy.

2. illy Italian style drip coffee

This time I recommend you a medium roast, which has a more popular taste. If you like a stronger taste, this one also has a deep roast. This product uses Arabica coffee beans. When you open the package, you can smell a rich aroma. The taste is fragrant and balanced, with a relatively balanced sourness and bitterness, and a sweet and mellow aftertaste.

3. Starbucks Japan imported drip coffee pure black coffee

Starbucks is here. This coffee is recommended for friends with strong taste, because it is really bitter. It is recommended to pair it with some French desserts, so that the taste alternates between the bitterness of coffee and the sweetness of cake, which is still a good experience.

4. Ziyu Blue Mountain Flavor Coffee

Internet celebrity coffee, suitable for beginners who are afraid of bitterness. First of all, its packaging is cool and the design is eye-catching. This coffee has a very distinct fruity aroma, and the changes in sourness, bitterness and sweetness are relatively gentle, with many layers of taste, suitable for careful tasting. This is medium roasted, and the coffee beans are mixed.

5. UNICAFE European drip coffee

UNICAFE is the originator of Japanese coffee and is very professional in the selection of coffee beans. It selects the best organically cultivated Arippica coffee beans and is certified by the Japanese Organic Cultivation Food Agency JAS. This cup of charcoal roasted mellow blended coffee is very rich, and after taking a sip, the unique taste of Charcoal Roasting slowly returns to the sweetness in the mouth. Whether it is a lazy morning or a busy afternoon, it will refresh you.

6. Colin Mandheling Freshly Ground Black Coffee Drip

This is a classic Mandheling flavor, using the Vienna roast method. It has a special caramel-like aroma, a mellow and rich taste, full grains, a slight sourness, and a moderate sweetness and bitterness. It is a classic flavor that many gourmets praise. Well, if you like caramel flavor, you can try it.
