The oldest coffee in the world - Mocha, with a delicious Mocha recipe that only takes a few minutes to make at home

Mocha coffee is one of the oldest coffees, and its history can even be traced back to the origin of coffee. Its name comes from the port of Mocha in Yemen, the ancient coffee country. It used to be a major export port near the Red Sea. At that time, coffee beans were mainly exported from the port of Mocha, and all these coffees were called Mocha coffee. Although the new port later replaced its former status, the coffee from the Mocha port period is still preserved, and the coffee beans in these areas are still called Mocha coffee beans.

The most authentic mocha is naturally a single-origin coffee bean from Yemen. It is a fine product among sun-dried coffees. The medium-deep roasted mocha coffee has a deep chocolate flavor and the fragrance of strawberry. Therefore, mocha coffee beans are also well-known in the world.

In fact, when it comes to Mocha coffee, the first thing that comes to mind is Mocha coffee among fancy coffees, right? It is a coffee mixed with milk, cream, chocolate syrup and espresso.

The emergence of fancy mocha coffee is thanks to the mocha coffee beans from Yemen. Because of the unique chocolate aroma of mocha coffee beans, people think of mixing chocolate when making other coffees to achieve the flavor of mocha coffee, thus making mocha coffee.

Nowadays, chocolate is usually replaced by chocolate syrup or instant chocolate powder. In order to enhance the aroma and beauty of coffee, people also add cream, cocoa powder, marshmallows, etc. to mocha coffee, which has become the various styles of mocha coffee on the market today. This is the well-known mocha coffee.

Here are two mocha coffee recipes:

Mocha Coffee

Prepare a cup of espresso, chocolate sauce (if you don’t have it, you can use melted chocolate instead), fresh cream, and milk.

Pour espresso and milk into a cup, about 70% full, then add the cream first. The cream is very light and can float on the surface. Then pour the chocolate sauce on the cream.

Java Mocha Iced Coffee

Prepare 30ml chocolate sauce, 4-5 ice cubes, 120ml iced coffee (black coffee), 30g cream

It is best to use a glass. Pour chocolate sauce on the wall of the glass, then put ice cubes in the glass and pour iced coffee. The iced coffee will slowly melt the chocolate sauce. Then put cream on the coffee. If there is any chocolate sauce left, you can pour it on the cream. This step is optional and is for aesthetics.

Mocha coffee can be drunk in spring, autumn and winter, while iced coffee is very suitable for summer. Have you learned how to make this? This is a cup of ancient and mellow mocha coffee. If you can't buy mocha coffee beans, making a cup of mocha coffee is also a good idea~
