Coffee beans brewed coffee: the perfect blend of aromatic flavors

Coffee Bean Selection

In the process of brewing coffee, it is very important to choose the right coffee beans. Coffee beans of different types and origins will bring different tastes and aromas. Generally speaking, we can choose coffee beans with strong or soft flavors according to our preferences.

Grinding and storage

In order to ensure the mellow flavor, we need to grind the coffee beans into powder suitable for the brewing method. The coarseness will affect the contact area between water and coffee and the extraction time, so it needs to be adjusted according to the specific brewing method.

In addition, when storing coffee beans, be careful not to expose them to sunlight or air. It is best to put them in a sealed container and store them in a cool and dry place.

Brewing method

There are many different brewing methods to choose from, such as drip, French press, espresso, etc. Each method has its own characteristics and applicable scenarios.

- Drip: Drip is one of the most common brewing methods, which can preserve the original flavor of coffee beans. Put the ground coffee powder into the filter paper and then slowly pour hot water. This method is suitable for people who like light taste and floral flavor.

- French Press: French Press is an easy-to-use method that can brew a rich and aromatic coffee. Put the coarsely ground coffee into the French Press, add the appropriate amount of boiling water, wait a few moments, and press the piston to get a rich and mellow coffee.

- Espresso: Espresso is a brewing method that pursues a strong taste and aroma. The coffee extracted quickly through high temperature and pressure will have more oil and bitter taste. This method is suitable for those who like strong drinks, especially those made with milk such as latte or cappuccino.

Time and temperature control

During the brewing process, both time and temperature have an impact on the final result. Generally speaking, brewing time that is too long will lead to over-extraction of coffee and a bitter taste, while too high a temperature may destroy the aroma of the coffee.

We can make appropriate adjustments based on different brewing methods and personal taste preferences. Generally speaking, the drip method takes about 3-4 minutes to brew at a water temperature of about 90°C; the French press takes about 4-5 minutes at a water temperature of about 95°C; and the espresso only takes 20-30 seconds at a water temperature above 90°C.

Enjoy coffee

Finally, when you pour the brewed coffee into the cup, you can appreciate its beautiful, delicate and rich color layers. When you taste it gently, you can feel the mellow flavor unfolding in your mouth and leaving a lasting aftertaste.

Whether it's when we wake up in the morning, during work breaks, or when we meet up with friends, a cup of perfectly brewed coffee can bring us pleasure and relaxation. So let's cherish every opportunity to make and taste coffee and enjoy the perfect blend of this mellow flavor.
