How to turn coffee beans into coffee

Coffee is a must-have drink for many people in the morning. It can refresh the mind and bring energy to people for the whole day. However, not everyone has a coffee machine. So, without a coffee machine, how can we turn coffee beans into fragrant and delicious coffee? This article will introduce you to several simple and easy methods.

1. Hand-washing method

Hand pouring is one of the most common and simplest ways to make coffee. First, we need to prepare ground coffee powder and filter paper. Next, put an appropriate amount of water in a clean, oil-free container and heat it to about 80°C (be careful not to overheat). Then, put an appropriate amount of coffee powder on the filter paper and gently pour the heated water on it.

After the water has completely penetrated, pour in the remaining water which is slightly hotter but will not burn your mouth or tongue or cause other injuries or even dangers. In this way, we get a cup of fragrant hand-brewed coffee.

2. French Press

A French press is another good option for making coffee. First, place the ground coffee in a French press and add the appropriate amount of hot water. Then, use a stirring stick to gently stir until smooth.

After waiting for about 4-5 minutes, slowly press the filter down to allow the coffee to seep out and separate the grounds. Finally, pour it out and enjoy the delicious and fragrant French press coffee.

3. Italian Cookware

Italian cookers are also called moka pots or espresso machines. They can produce rich, mellow and charming drinks similar to espresso without professional equipment.

First, add a proper amount of clean water to the bottom, taking into account the expansion space created during the process; then, put a proper amount of fine and clean coffee powder in the middle. Close the cooker tightly and place it on the fire to heat.

When the water starts to boil, the steam produced will pass through the coffee powder in the middle part and the pressure will make the coffee liquid seep into the top container. After waiting for the whole process to be completed, you can pour out the rich and fragrant coffee made by Italian cooker.

4. Cold Brew

Cold brewing is a relatively slow method that can extract more flavor and taste. First, put a suitable amount of cold water in a container and add finely ground coffee beans.

Then, seal the container and place it in the refrigerator for about 12-24 hours (the time can be adjusted according to personal taste). After the time is up, use filter paper or other filtering equipment to filter out solid particles to get a refreshing, mellow and low-acid cold brew coffee.

5. Handmade

If you don't have any tools, you can also try to make coffee by hand. First, put an appropriate amount of ground coffee powder in a clean and oil-free container. Then, cool the boiling water to about 90℃.

Next, slowly pour the boiling water into the container and stir it gently with a spoon. After waiting for about 3-4 minutes, filter out the residue with a filter or gauze to get a cup of handmade coffee.

Summarize

The above are several ways to make delicious coffee without a coffee machine. No matter which method you choose, you need to pay attention to using high-quality fresh coffee beans and adjust the grinding degree and soaking time according to your personal taste. I hope these methods can help you enjoy delicious and fragrant coffee at home!
