Coffee is an attitude, and fine coffee is a tone.

Hello everyone, I am Kobe. In the next period of time, let's travel together with coffee~ Let's go!

"Waiter, waiter, why is there no milk in my Americano? It's so bitter."

"Please give me a latte without milk, it makes me fat!"

"Didn't I ask you to help me remove the ice from my frappuccino? Why is it still cold?"

Have you ever encountered the embarrassing situations listed above when ordering in a coffee shop? Many times, when we go to a coffee shop, we don’t know the composition of each type of coffee. In particular, many friends have been influenced by the wrong instant coffee for many years and don’t know how to order a cup of coffee that suits them. Today, let’s talk about how to drink a cup of authentic American coffee .

Simply put, American coffee is coffee that suits the American taste.

Americans are reluctant to drink espresso. Why? Because espresso is too stimulating, and even fast-paced Americans find it hard to accept. Since American coffee culture originated from Italy, for a long time, espresso was sold on the streets of the United States, and there was no coffee suitable for them. What should they do? Smart Americans came up with a "rough" solution, which is to dilute espresso with water. As for how much water to add, it depends on the different tastes of each person.

I believe that many people first came into contact with American coffee from foreign fast food chains such as McDonald's and KFC. Let's think back, do their coffees come with a small box of milk balls and a bag of sugar?

After years of market cultivation, these cheap "fast food" consumption seem to have implanted an indelible mark in people's minds: the standard configuration for drinking American coffee is 1 box of milk and 1 bag of sugar, otherwise it will not be "American style".

In fact, a proper Americano doesn’t have milk. Why? Because it doesn’t need it!

Low-end coffee, or coffee brewed from coffee powder, has a more prominent bitter and astringent taste, so condiments are needed to neutralize the taste, but good coffee is "less bitter" or even "bitter". Not only that, high-end coffee has many pleasant flavors, such as caramel, chocolate, citrus, fruit, etc. If you have a chance, you can try authentic civet coffee, Yirgacheffe coffee, Gesha and other boutique coffee beans, and you will understand after a few sips. So, the aroma and taste of good coffee itself are very suitable for human tasting, and it can flow smoothly into the throat without adding sugar or milk. Adding sugar and milk is superfluous and hinders the tasting of the original taste of coffee.

With the rise of boutique American coffee culture around the world, more and more people realize that black coffee without sugar or milk is the correct way to taste coffee. At this point, we have to thank the hardworking coffee farmers . It is their efforts to improve the quality of coffee beans that have made it possible for us to have good coffee that can be drunk smoothly without flavorings. In addition, we also have to thank ourselves for being more picky ! If our taste had not improved, how could the profit-seeking large coffee merchants spend a lot of money to improve the quality and provide roasted, freshly ground good coffee?

Of course, drinking black coffee without sugar is not only a taste issue, but also a health issue.

Creamer, non-dairy creamer, sugar, these unhealthy coffee companions, let’s throw them away as soon as possible!

Well, today's journey ends here.

I am Kobe, a coffee lover.

I hope that the "coffee journey" that I carefully prepared for you can add a touch of color to your life.

Looking forward to seeing you on the next journey.
