Ten-year barista: essential tools for hand-brewed coffee

Today, I am here to share some coffee knowledge with you. With the increasing consumption of coffee in the Chinese market, coffee is no stranger to everyone. It has also attracted a group of coffee lovers, and hand-brewed coffee is no stranger to coffee lovers. Do you know the necessary equipment for hand-brewed coffee? Today, I will show you.

First of all, do you know what hand-poured coffee is? Hand-poured coffee is brewed using a filter cup and filter paper. It is a very simple extraction method. The difference between hand-poured coffee and espresso machines is that the taste is cleaner and purer, and compared with drip coffee pots, you can enjoy a richer taste.

The most basic equipment needed for hand-brewed coffee is a grinder (to grind coffee), a filter cup (to filter coffee), filter paper, a glass pot (to hold coffee after extraction), and a hand-brewed pot (to pour water). In addition to the above, it would be even more perfect if there were auxiliary equipment such as an electronic scale (for water volume), a thermometer (for water temperature), and a measuring spoon. The specific instructions for the equipment will be shared with you one by one in the following articles. For example, the types of grinders, the differences in filter cups, etc.

Of course, fine coffee beans and high-quality water are also indispensable. Without fine coffee beans, no matter how precise your parameters are, you will not be able to extract a cup of rich-tasting coffee. The editor usually uses Fleish Mocha coffee beans for hand brewing. It has a rich chocolate flavor, a mellow texture, and a hint of citrus fruit aroma. Its gentle but not greasy sweetness will make you unforgettable with just one mouthful.
