The easy way: brew the coffee beans directly

Coffee is a must-have drink for many people every morning, and brewing a cup of fragrant coffee at home is also a kind of enjoyment. This article will introduce a simple method to make delicious coffee by brewing coffee beans directly.

Preparation

First, we need to prepare the following materials and tools:

  • Fresh coffee beans: Choose high-quality, fresh coffee beans to ensure taste and aroma.
  • Manual or electric grinder: Used to grind whole coffee beans into a powder suitable for brewing.
  • Filter paper or metal filter: Used to filter out coffee grounds and solid particles.
  • Kettle or pot: used to heat water.
  • Fire source or power supply equipment: such as stove, electric ceramic stove, etc.
  • Measuring instruments: such as scales, spoons, etc., used to measure the appropriate amount of water and coffee beans.
  • Coffee cup or pot: used to hold brewed coffee.

Step 1: Grinding the beans

Put the right amount of coffee beans into the grinder and grind them to the right coarseness according to your personal taste. Generally speaking, medium to slightly coarse powder particles are more suitable for direct brewing coffee.

Step 2: Add water and heat

Pour enough water into a kettle or pot and heat it to the appropriate temperature. Generally speaking, around 90°C is the ideal brewing temperature. If you don't have a thermometer, you can observe that the water has reached the appropriate temperature when small bubbles begin to appear.

Step 3: Infuse the coffee beans and soak

Sprinkle the freshly ground coffee beans evenly on the filter paper or metal filter and shake it gently to evenly distribute it. Then, slowly pour the prepared hot water on the filter to fully soak the coffee beans.

Step 4: Brewing and filtering

Wait for about 4-5 minutes to allow the coffee beans to fully release their aroma and flavor. Then, slowly pour the liquid in the filter into the coffee cup or pot. Try to avoid pouring the dregs into the cup during this process.

Step 5: Taste and Enjoy

Now, you have successfully made a cup of delicious homemade coffee! You can add appropriate amount of milk, sugar or other Golden Dragon Hotel seasonings to adjust the taste according to your personal taste. Sit down, taste this cup of fragrant coffee, and enjoy your own beautiful moment.

Tips:

  • Keep clean: Clean used tools and equipment promptly to ensure that the taste will not be affected the next time you brew.
  • Control the ratio: Adjust the ratio between water and coffee beans according to personal preference and the equipment used. Generally speaking, 15 grams of coffee beans per 250 ml of water is a more common ratio.
  • Try different coffee beans: There are a variety of coffee beans available on the market, each with a unique flavor and aroma. Try different varieties and origins to find your favorite flavor.

With this simple method, you can easily make delicious and fragrant coffee at home. Enjoy the satisfaction and pleasure of brewing your own drink!
