Recently, the highly anticipated IIAC Gold Award coffee bean selection event was announced at the National Center. This is a grand event where a team of judges composed of professionals will evaluate and compare the quality of coffee beans across the country. After fierce competition, the outstanding varieties that finally stand out will be awarded the IIAC Gold Award.

1. Selection Background

As the scale of my country's coffee market continues to expand, consumers are increasingly demanding coffee quality and taste. In order to promote the development of my country's coffee industry and enhance the competitiveness of Chinese specialty coffee on the world stage, it is particularly important to hold such an authoritative and credible selection event.

2. Selection process

The iiac Gold Award Coffee Bean Selection Event is divided into three stages: preliminary round, semi-final and final. First, in the preliminary round, contestants from all regions need to submit coffee bean samples and fill in detailed product information. Then, the judging team will blind test and score the samples to select the outstanding varieties with potential to enter the semi-final. In the semi-final, contestants need to provide more relevant information and field investigation opportunities so that the judges can fully understand the production process and quality control of coffee beans. Finally, in the final, each contestant will display their products and undergo strict taste tests by the on-site judges.
