Coffee bean weight: Exploring the power of a tiny bean

Coffee beans are seeds from the coffee tree, native to Africa. According to legend, around the 9th century AD, a shepherd named Kaldi discovered the magical power of coffee beans. He noticed that his flock became unusually active after eating the berries of a certain plant. Curious, Kaldi tasted the berries and found that they had a refreshing effect.

Picking is an essential step in producing high-quality coffee beans. Only coffee cherries that are moderately ripe, bright in color, intact, and free of pests and diseases can be selected for picking. After picking, they are placed in the sun to dry to remove the outer pulp and mucus.

Next comes the shelling and grading process, during which the best quality and similar size beans are selected. These unprocessed beans are then called "green beans" and sent to the roasting plant.

Roasting is a key step in determining the taste and flavor of coffee beans. By controlling the temperature and time, the coffee beans can be roasted to different degrees, thus producing coffee with different flavors.

Before you can enjoy a delicious cup of coffee, you need to grind your coffee beans. The choice of how coarse or fine you want to grind depends on the brewing equipment you use and your personal taste preferences. Coarser grinds are better for brewing with a French press or a drip machine, while finer grinds are better for an espresso machine or a manual brewing tool.

Once you have selected the appropriate size of coffee powder, you can start brewing. Common methods include drip, French press, espresso, etc. Each method has its own specific steps and requirements, and you need to pay attention to ensuring the water temperature, ratio and time.

A cup of quality coffee is not only for refreshing, but also for enjoyment. When tasting coffee, you can experience the diversity of coffee by observing the color, smelling the aroma, and tasting the taste.

Everyone has different preferences for coffee. Some people like strong bitterness and deep taste, while others prefer light and fragrant flavors. Regardless of personal preference, you can find a choice that suits your taste in the rich variety of coffee.

From origin to brewing to tasting, in this process we can see the huge power contained in a small bean. It is not just a drink, but also a bond that connects people from all over the world to emotional and cultural exchanges.

Whether you are a professional who loves coffee culture and pursues the quality of a perfect cup, or an ordinary consumer who simply enjoys a cup of fragrant coffee in the morning, you can find your own unique experience and a journey that nourishes your soul in this vast and magical field.
